Turning a character into an NPC Follower

I could really use help guys.

 

I'm looking to make one of my characters into a follower npc. Yet when I go to import from my character it will only upload the body correctly. The head however will be a normal nord female and not have anything i've done on ece or with my textures n'stuff. How do I get the face onto the body?

You could just use Familiar Faces.
