Monsto Brukes Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 In CK, is there a way for you to hide, select, filter or otherwise "partition" the clutter in a cell? I'd like to 'see' the cell without the accouterments . . . cluttering up the view.
Veladarius Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Select an item or items and hit the 1 key - once will make it transparent but unselectable and twice will hide it completely. F5 will refresh the Render Window and bring everything back.
Monsto Brukes Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 The question was about filtering, not hiding. a "select all of a type" kinda thing. Or select 1 dish then hit a key to select all dishes.
Veladarius Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Then sort or filter the items in the Cell View window and select the items you want there, click on the header for the Render Window and hit 1.
Emberheart Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 You can filter the cell menu by reference ID. When items are placed they're usually placed in a cluster. So ef150 - ef16f are all sacks, barrels etc in that far right corner, in example. Filter them, then drag-select in the cell menu and manipulate as you wish. That's the closest I can think of. Note: Be careful with moving/hiding stuff. CK is rather fickle with editing cells and may not properly walk back through its undo history, misplacing or altering things if you undo too often. Be sure to check the mod data when selecting a mod in CK to see what is altered in that mod.
