Anyone getting Destiny?

I finally got a chance to play it.for a few hours the other night. I gotta say I was really impressed with the hub world and mission structure, but it really feels like a half baked Borderlands. Still I need some more time with it.

 

Overall I'm digging it though.

Gamers should realy starting to punish these money grabbing companys with there idiotic DLC on launch day eventually pay for these games alot more only because the DLC which should be in the game in first place at launch now kept out of it so they seperatly sell them with the game at same day or first weeks.

 

At least skyrim give us even it was also badly ported 200+ with basic game not modded.

 

Or Guild Wars 2 that give all DLC and any content free no bullshitting there fans with unfinished game.

 

But ive already boycotte alot games this year won't pay 50 euros for game that have maybe 8 hours gameplay or unfinished.

 

My wallet stay close.

 

I got 33 games on steam over period of 6 years while i would have bought more if they where complete and not in alpha stage(early fucking acces my ASS).

 

But im affraid i belong to a minority, majority just keep spending and spending on unfinished games, result we get more crappy games every day bah:(

Guild Wars 2 may not have bullshitted fans with DLC but it did bullshit them in other ways.

 

 

As most other games on the planet.

 

But still one time buy and you have huge rather open world that looks great everything for free after buying(not in cashshop tho) some dig it some don't.

 

I don't say GW2 don't have it's flawes but its still one better MMO'S out there that not constantly try charge you for new content.

 

For me GW2 cash shop sucks and game is way to easy. i hate the dungeon crawling and dynamic events failed to some point.

 

WvWvW is both good and bad but also sometimes lame.

 

It's a e peen game for skins and mini's.

 

One of best under water worlds ever created in a mmorpg.

 

I'm btw not playing anymore because i don't like grind constantly and game is way to easy.

I'm not talking about fans of Guild Wars 2, I'm talking about fans of Guild Wars who had been waiting for Guild Wars 2 for FOUR years. They removed some of the most popular classes and added two hit or miss ones. They expected you to grind and farm without giving you any way of grinding or farming and with a level cap that high, that's a no no. Then there's the storyline, which in any other MMO you could ignore but not in a Guild Wars game (since the story is central to the fucking game) and a story where you character is cut out halfway through and turned into a glorified errand boy for a crappier character which sort of happened in Factions but the backlash Anet got resulted in them not pulling that bullshit again in Nightfall or Eye of the North and should've told them that it would be a bad idea to do it again. I'm not saying Guild Wars was perfect (it was far from it, the aforementioned problems with Factions which was just a group of escort missions and Nightfall which hid further progression in the story behind a fuckload of grinding) but it has less problems than Guild Wars 2 has. As for the mini pets they've always been a part of Guild Wars.

To each his own, but i don't agree with you and again you just can't compare the two it was already from beginning Arena would go totally different way with GW2 so keep saying GW1 is good and Arena net betrayed us with GW2 is just not true.

 

Only huge problem with GW2 is introduction of the dungeon in Lion Arch Fractals of the mist, cash shop and to WAY TO EASY(Beta first weekend it was ok after that so many WHINED AND CRY the dumb down started already in second beta weekend) is great and grind is not that bad at all many ways to lvl and not boring at all the world is beautiful.

 

But the three points i mentioned is the reason i quit biggest is to easy monsters bosses.

 

It's a true themepark ala WoW make it easy for the masses then i'm out.

 

Btw i never liked GW1 so maybe im not the right person to comepare or judge about that game.

I have it, the gameplay is awesome, and even if i'm agree with that review I'd want to add a simple fact, that verdict is based on the comparative against a traditional MMO.

And destiny is not an MMO, is something between an MMO and a multiplayer. so... about all that angry with the clan tag, the share problem, etc, is simply because those are basic MMO features not implemented in this game.

If you accept that fact, and agree with the new rules of this quasi-MMO-Multiplayer, then you will be fine, because the game is AWESOME.
