Help with a Mod

Okie, I had originally posted in the general area and was told to bring this to tech support, SO I hope I get the right area this time.

So i'm having a problem with a mod or two, maybe someone can help me out. I recently downloaded and installed a few followers, two of the followers are working great, but as soon as I install the third one, the other two go haywire, as in their entire body disappears  and only shows their head and weapon if they have one. Can anyone help me out? The one follower that is throwing everything off is this one:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55436/?

And the two that are being affected by her are these two: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1178-ms-vavavooommm-companion/

If anyone can help me figure out how to fix it, it would be great cuz now if i play without the one causing issues, my game freezes when i try to load save game without her.

can't help you with that specific problem but a pointer. When bodies disappear it is likely because of missing requirements, ( meshes/textures) or something messed those up. try checking the requirements again. This is the first step that you can try.

Then if you do have the requirements its likely that the bodies are conflicting and such. Perhaps post a question related to possible conflicts on the LL thread. ( I would also say Nexus but many times response is slower)

yeah idk what is happening with it because the two specific followers work perfectly up until i add the follower that causes the issues. basically as soon as i add her to the game and start the game up, she shows up fine but my other two followers are floating heads. and if i remove her, they have their bodies back, it sounds like something on the one follower is interfering with the other two, i just don't know what.

Go to the mod authors. They know the files.

You are likely missing the body or body settings for one of the girls. Another problem is One of these girls are packed in a BSA and the others are loose. Loose files will take priority over bsa in NMM. I don't believe you are using MO. In MO that don't matter.

I only answered because others here haven't tried to help you .. a little direction is better than nothing.. sorry I can't give you more. I don't use follower mods and I rarely make changes to bodies as well.

yeah the maker of the bsa one claimed it was a standalone while the others don't seem to be, i will reach out to the maker of the standalone, maybe they can shed some light. thanks for helping me though ^_^

That sounds like a possible issue. The standalone version might be requiring something or might have overwritten something or something as simple as the set up of the mod. I checked two of them in MO and there wasn't any glaring conflicts however I didn't run the mods.

If you have the time and energy.. perhaps check and play with the CK. There you can see how the stand alone was made and perhaps in the future rework the other followers to be stand alone as well. This is a benefit because you can have totally different bodies and other things that wouldn't normally be available.

Good luck

I just downloaded them and took a quick look.  Ada Wong has meshes in the folder that affect every other race in game. So unless every base race is using the same mesh as Ada previously, you're going to have some sort of conflict/issues.  I loaded her up and she has a non HDT compatible body so I had stretched titties to infinity everywhere; quite amusing.  She needs her own body mesh path set.

I got in there and recreated a duplicate race for Ada and assigned a new folder for her meshes, and then I brought up TES5Edit and lost interest.  Tons of wild edits, and I'm too lazy to figure out what is purposeful and what isn't.  For instance, Whiterun exterior x markers, imperial face, daedric bow, NordRace,SkinNaked, etc. My advice would be to wait on Ada.  I'm the sure the gal/guy will clean her up, as they appear to have put a lot of love into her.

Edit: Seriously, here's the Mod Organiser link.  It's worth spending some time and frustration getting it working.  There's a video tutorial and everything.  It makes load order stuff almost a no-brainer.

Thanks Mojodajojo, and thanks ritualclarity for your help, i'm gonna try and see if i can get this fixed cuz right now the biggest issue i have is, since she's already in my saved file, if i remove her, the game freezes up when i try to load the game without her even if i removed her from the party before hand

Follow mojodajojo... he has made many companions and many custom companions. It is a great skill. If I had an interest in custom followers or even custom races ( like custom followers) I would learn that trick and have fun. Who knows. You might even decide to do something like that with other characters.

There are lots of easy stuff to do with CK that don't require scripts and other harder subjects. hell even if you do need to script something. You are on an awesome site that people will be willing to help you help yourself..  afterall. That help means more tasty mods for them to play with... lol. Who knows you could even end up with the next popular mod. ;)

would be awesome to make something popular, i'm dipping into editing armors to fit bigger bods so it should be fun to learn new things, found a neat tutorial but if someone can give me better pointers it would be awesome, and just to maybe get some help, which version of blender should i be using to do armor edits? if anyone knows cuz the tutorial has me using 2.49b with nifscripts 2.59 and nifscope 1.1.3. i wanna make sure i'm not outdating myself on learning to tinker lol

Check the tutorial section. If still in question post a fresh thread on Modding tools and proper setup. There should be some better help. I don't have those tools installed yet myself.

Also there is a program that might help with the conversions of clothing and such. It is floating around this site. It is complex but it can do batch editing where you can then go back and do the small fixes if needed. ( at least as far as I understood it)

Make sure you have removed all of Ada's files and start a new game.  As soon as it lets you hit the escape button from within that new game load the old game.

Edit:

To make sure you have Ada's stuff out you can copy the files from Ada directly into the data folder then right click and hit undo copy.  This will make sure they are really out.

Also, if you had custom body meshes in, Ada was writing over those.  So make sure to reinstall whatever body you were using.
