Elonna Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 I don't think HanPL will be pretty happy.. I think the what if would result in banned end.. that's why i asked first otherwise i whould've u/l already... lucky me no ban for today
labrat Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 And I can't even check out the CK 'cause, you guessed it, You have to launch the fucking thing through Steeeeeam! and if it's tied up taking another three hours to update "super duper just what the kiddies wanted HiRez" textures then sorry you'll just have to wait...... Never again. Sorry Beth, but you blew it. There are plenty more fish in the sea and they don't use Steeeeam!
Elonna Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 And I can't even check out the CK 'cause' date=' you guessed it, You have to launch the fucking thing through Steeeeeam! and if it's tied up taking another three hours to update "super duper just what the kiddies wanted HiRez" textures then sorry you'll just have to wait...... [/quote'] actually i use mine without launching steam client...i also have a cracked version of skyrim! anyways good night and happy modding
cyanure Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Started CK and got a nice list of errors with the basic Skyrim.esm -"Masterfile:localzation:lookup failed for ID:xxxxxxxx from strings file:STRINGS/Skyrim_English.DLSTRINGS" by dozen -"MASTERFILE:NavmeshInfo xxxxx has no parent space, ignoring",multiples -"MASTERFILE:Error were encountered during Inititem for reference" Seem it start GREAT!!!
Kraxon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Started CK and got a nice list of errors with the basic Skyrim.esm -"Masterfile:localzation:lookup failed for ID:xxxxxxxx from strings file:STRINGS/Skyrim_English.DLSTRINGS" by dozen -"MASTERFILE:NavmeshInfo xxxxx has no parent space' date='ignoring",multiples -"MASTERFILE:Error were encountered during Inititem for reference" Seem it start GREAT!!! [/quote'] I got those too. Maybe it is because all the stuff in the overwrite folder?
cyanure Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I may be wrong, but it may be a language setting problem for the first part as the STRINGS/Skyrim_English.DLSTRINGS are not present in Skyrim at all instead been reinplaced by my native language (No choice here, the instalation was done in France, even if I wished it to be in English...
Kraxon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Yeah, but even tho I am in germany, I did install an english version of the game. Maybe the CK needs resources from the windows? o.0
cyanure Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 eeerr.....may be it is this steamwork thing that is needed(No idea what is that steamwork thing and if it need to be downloaded or installed)
Kraxon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I click cancel, but still get the error messages. I just made and saved a mod, where I put a buch of cabbages in faendals house. Let's see if it works. Update: It seems to work, but now I have two faendals. ಠ̯ಠ But that is my lack of modding skill and not the CK, I guess.
Kyocera Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 And so it begins. Times of joy are set to come!
Surenas Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Nah, they've just confused unicode with unicorn. Such things happen when one is in a hurry LOL I got it! That is the promised surprise! Umm ... yeah, I am surprised. Haven't seen that for a decade. Only the first Morrowind Construction Set had an even worse startup routine
Kraxon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Nah' date=' they've just confused unicode with unicorn. Such things happen when one is in a hurry LOL Edit: Still problems with the missing Skyrim_English.dlSTRINGS in Germany and elsewhere? [/quote'] Yes, even tho I have a britsh import of skyrim in english language, I still get these error messages. Opening and saving mods works, however. But with lots of error in between.
Surenas Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Yes. Again we have to hammer the cancel button hard, as it was already in the old days, in the year dot when we had no intel inside but a frakkin hamster...

Again we have to hammer the cancel button hard' date=' as it was already in the old days, in the year dot when we had no intel inside but a frakkin hamster... [/quote'] Yes, reminds me of morrowind too. And there is not even a "Yes to all", "No to all" or "Fuck you all" option this time.
Surenas Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Guess Beth's designer bots need an upgrade. That'd save us a bunch of updates

"Fun" parts of this is there is a serious warning that tell you "if you press the Yes to all youwill skip those warning"...o_O'
Surenas Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Warning, huh? I've always thought it'd be a friendly invitation, a hammering for two or something
labrat Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 You are kidding me, right guys? Two and a half months late and it's a crock? What were they doing all that time - negotiating their contract with Steeeam! ? Didn't any of the kiddies try switching the damn thing on to check it worked?! I bought into Skyrim for the CK. As far as I'm concerned it was the salient feature, the selling point. Don't tell me that I've been screwed......
Surenas Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Perhaps they aren't that many. Have you ever thought of that? Any way, they give the strange impression of semi-professionality already since the onset of the game. And that's something I really don't catch.
cyanure Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Forthe test done by Kraxon, seem it work, with some "littles" error,I personnaly think there will be some adjustements and change in the following versions:s they may have released it a tad quickly(and to save the face too...)
demongoat Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 bleh the CK is typical of beth it seems, one step forward two steps back they could have at least left the ability to set body parts like they did in fo3, but noooo they have to mess with something that worked pretty well. i guess unless they change it, someone will be making a setbody mod.

[/quote'] someone will come up with a working setbody mod i have no doubts but it will DEF take time. more than the original did to be sure. just kind of upset you can only get the Hires tex pack through steam. i have steam and bought a few games from them but i would rather not have something else running in the background while i play my games.
