Body replacer issue

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hello,

I'm trying to install a Type6 M body and equipment replacer: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45505/?

Currently it looks as though the default and T6M bodies are overlapped on top of each other. Images attached.

I have toggled Archive Invalidation off/on again in FOMM with no change.

The notes on the nexus page are in poor English; here's what I've done so far:

1 - Attempted to install via FOMM - no change in game (default body, no overlapping)

2 - Manual install to data folder. ESM and load order checked in FOMM, archive invalidation toggled off/on prior to launch - overlapping bodies.

3 - Set the NSVE loader, and the FNV .exe to run at administrator and tried again - no change.

4 - Lots of Google searches to no avail.

Additionally, the mod should have installed body-modded clothing, but the starter gear all seems to be default.

This is a clean install of Fallout New Vegas from steam with only NVSE installed.

FalloutNV.esm
TribalPack.esm
MercenaryPack.esm
ClassicPack.esm
CaravanPack.esm
DeadMoney.esm
HonestHearts.esm
OldWorldBlues.esm
LonesomeRoad.esm
GunRunnersArsenal.esm
T6M Equipment Replacer NV.esm
Type 6.esp

Any ideas?

Thanks!

No big problem here.

You need a corresponding Body Texture Replacer as well.

That what the "black panties" and weird discolorations are from.

Also go ahead and grab the Archive Invalidation Invalidated mod/file, while you're at it.

It is small, and you only need to activate it once, and never need to worry about it again. It's automatic.

Without downloading the bmps (next time, use jpegs), my guess is it's because Sexout installs the T6 body during installation.  Try it without Type 6.esp.

This is all correct. Sexout does not care if you install new (female) bodies or not, but you must install them and the stuff that goes with them correctly. The included mesh and texture will only be used if you didn't install your 3rd party body right, or didn't install one at all. It has no effect on clothes.

If you're using FOMM as you should be, there is no point to doing this. The Archive Invalidation in FOMM works fine, and you never have to toggle it off and on (that's an FO3 or really old/unpatched FONV thing).
