Cattpride Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I've been spending a few days editing an armor model in Blender to convert it to another body. I've got both the _0 and the _1 versions of the model finished, but whenever I equip it in-game it's either invisible or it crashes my game. Is anyone willing to help out/help me troubleshoot in Nifskope for something that I may have done wrong or missed?
JRCosta Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Does the equipment show properly in the CK preview window? Did you assign the body slots right both in the NIFs files and in the CK? Just make sure you follow this steps: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/576983-tutorial-assign-meshes-to-new-body-parts/ Good luck
myuhinny Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 There is also this tool by Gerra6 New Clothing Body Style Converter http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27557-new-clothing-body-style-converter-release-candidate-v072-3-30-2014/ That can convert a armor from one body size to another no 3d program like blender or 3dmax needed. It works for fallout new vegas oblivion and skyrim it does work better if there are matching UV maps.

I used this guide to get through the conversion process: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_2 with dismemberment weighting being the only step I didn't do. Regardless, I'll try using the tools you guys gave me and seeing if it works. Thanks!
