TBT Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Wow. My post got deleted twice now because I tried to fix some formatting and instead it sent be back a page. Instead of a nice, detailed help post I'm just going to post the super short, kind of mad version. I don't know what replaces the old HDT Havok Object file now. Everything else is installed correctly. Do I use this? Or is it something from here? I'm having a really hard time figuring out what that second post is even about, and the first post seems to totally overwrite the initial HDT install and I have no idea if that is correct. Any guidance?

Think he meant to say ADD (not "at") the \Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml path to female head .nif using nifscope, and add \Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtm.xml to the male hands nif, like Derpakin said here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/26891-how-to-enable-hdt-belly-distortions-with-sos/?hl=%20belly%20%20collision

I'm using CBBE) and I guess it's working? I have HDT effects in armor but not in my idle animation. The only real thing that is bugging me now is the belly wiggle from this (hilarious, but I don't want it) and the sometimes boobs and butts just spaz out. This is way harder than it was just using the old HDT Havok Object method, tell you that...
cornbreadtm Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Use this Pretty Face - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7887/ or this RANs HeadMesh Variants - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7127/ no point in extracting the crappy vanilla head mesh. You can just hit no on replacing anything with Pretty face if you use a mod manager, since you only need the head mesh.

CBBE had no belly collision tho, while UNP sometimes does, an sometimes just goes SPAZZZZ!! I am still tryin to make the belly calm dn and the chesties wake up but playing w/the XML is slow learnin experience cuz I'm a slooow learner. Havok object nvr rly worked right for me. Least not with CBBE; it just made everything spaz out. Nvr tried it w/UNP. P to the S! I was using CBBE and had a head mesh. Mebbe old CBBE? IDK. Tried Lady Body head for a bit but it screwed up some o my character faces (like, shattered glass face polys ewwww) so I went back to whatever it was I had right away. Still using same head mesh tho w UNP now. Seems OK.

Mookeylama Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 what's the best method to get NPC ladies to show collision? give them hdt head meshes?
Cymri Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 what's the best method to get NPC ladies to show collision? give them hdt head meshes? Different for everyone. Some like head mesh some like Havok object. I c/n get either to work at all til I used B3llesario body - even newer HDT body did not work to give right results, and it was built for jiggle, preg, and (I think) collision. I Tried Topmodel cuz someone got it to work and I hated HDT 7B, and 7B did not work right anyway, but Topmodel not for me I guess (no luck w/it). It is not as straight up as it looks; lot o little things can screw it up and make it not work same way for different ppl. Colllision still meh/too-wiggly, but belly finally worx w/B3llesario bod for me after a yr of trying, but others say that bod gives them problems. BTW I use head mesh, but IDK what bod the mesh was from (had it when used CBBE or CHSBHC), or if that even matters.
