Sand Storm Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I have been tinkering with the mod SexoutSpunk in the geck to try and make the shader effect last longer. I have been able to make it last but when I do I get this flashing dark/black shade over my character. Any tips on the right way to make the effect shader last longer than a few seconds?
TSS5062 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I did what you did, I assume; I bumped up the shader duration but without incident. I'm not sure what could cause the dark flashing. One person reported a glitched install once. If you upgraded from a previous version note that the latest version requires a clean install.
panthercom Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Are you editing a script to increase the shader duration? I'd really like to set it longer in my game too.
DoctaSax Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Due to the visual trickle effect & the pms command function that I use to play the shaders, the only way to affect shader duration is doing it in the records for the imagespace modifiers shaders (dumbass) themselves. It isn't too difficult finding what you need in there to make it last a bit longer.

Any help would be appreciated espically from he author.
DoctaSax Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 An id like SpunkSHHuman1T2 is - for humans - volume 1 (lightest) - T2 : second set of shaders supplied by TSS5062 (T1 the first, L1 the LPK set)
Sand Storm Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 Ive got that part. Im asking if I go to that shader screen for the desired effect i.e. SpunkSHHuman1T2 what value do I alter to make it last longer or should I go to a totally differnt place to alter time of exposure?
DoctaSax Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 There are 2 values there that are set to around 45, iirc. They both end in 'alpha fade out time'. That'd be the main ones to change; you may need to fiddle with the others a bit too
