CTD Helgen Chopping Block

completely wiped and reinstalled skyrim, had some CTD already but was able to figure them out. this one i dont understand, everything is fine my char kneels down but as soon as the head touches the chopping block i get a CTD. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

What about your loadorder or maybe your papyrus log?

I remember there are some bugs with some mods editing stuff around helgen which are causing CTDs there, I recommend going past it with Alternate Start

Don't know for sure, but that seems like it'd be right around the time the game would spawn in Alduin and make him do the whole attacking scene thing. Could something have altered/be interfering with the dragons in your game and it's screwing something up? Maybe missing animations or meshes or something?

I'm guessing you reinstalled your mods all at one time. You may now have to painstakingly uninstall each mod until it stops crashing. But as xgkf had said, I don't see anything that might make your game crash.

could dance of death cause it? its the only thing that i have installed i believe that edits the dragons.

I don't think so. I have Dance of Death installed too but I haven't had any issue with dragons. Granted, I haven't done the opening Helgen sequence (using Skyrim Unbound which skips all that), but I don't think it would.

ugh wth.  now when i try to start a new game the carriages are frozen in place, the people are moving and talking and the game eventually CTD.
