Creatures not "aggressive". Manual anims do work.

As with previous issues I've had with mods, I'm probably just missing a small thing here.

For some reason creatures do not initiate rape, but when using a spell to attract, the animations do work. Of course do have creature attacks selected in the settings. So no idea what's causing this behaviour.

You have to have a mod has aggressive creature support enabled, it doesn't just magically start happening. 

 

SexLab Defeat and SexLab Submit would be two such mods that have optional support for that that needs to have the option enabled.

I understand this doesn't magically happen I have SexLab Defeat installed and the Creature option enabled.

Turn on Debug mode in SexLab from the MCM, enter the console command "tim" to turn on immortal mode (different from tgm, you still lose health with tim), then find a group of creatures that should be compatible with SexLab Defeat, put your back to them and let them attack you.

 

While the creatures continue to attack you, occasionally check your console for potential errors SexLab has output there, it will output non-errors as well when attempting to start a scene so the key things to look for in the console as you get wailed on by the creatures is SexLab Defeat trying to start an animation in failing, this would likely come in the form of errors that mention an actor failing validation, or a thread being unable to find an animation for the given creature. 

 

If the creatures just continue hitting you over and over again but no creature related errors ever get output to the console, then your problem is most likely with the your SexLab Defeat configuration.

*edit* Well, I would if I could find it. Don't see it in either the Sexlab section, the Sexlab Defeat section and/or the Sexlab Creatures section.
