Installation:
1. Install Oscuro�s Oblivion Overhaul (link above) if you do not have it installed already

2. Install Mage Equipment 2.1 (link above) if you do not have it installed already

3. Do NOT install Mage Equipment�s .esp file. If you already have it, delete it

4. Unpack the Mage Equipment for OOO into your data folder. Note that the old folders provided by OOO will be overwritten

5. Select the Mage Equipment � OOO in your Data files.

I did everything according to the instruction plus I rebuilt the bash patch, but the robes still didn't have enchantment.

6. OPTIONAL: Use Wry Bash to combine the leveled lists of OOO and Mage Equipment � OOO

When you are rebuilding your bashed patch there is a box that you can check that will allow you to combine any leveled lists. Just go slowly through all the settings and you will find it.

I didn't rebuild the bash patch because I was not sure.

I uploaded the screen that shows what I suppose to do with leveling list. Am I doing this correctly?

Btw what are those abbreviations in brackets? That is [ADR] and [AR]?

Up in the right-hand corner it says 'automatic'--you have to check that or it won't combine/merge your lists.

'ADR'--don't worry, be happy.

WARNING: Earlier you get to add rings and amulets in a couple different places etc. Don't 'double' up on those or it will crash. For example: check off in once section to have multiple rings on the hand and then in the next section check again to not have multiple=wrong.

what has more new items, this or Frans(I love lots of customisability :3) and if it isn't is there any other overhaul with more items than Frans?

OOO is quite different than Frans as it does not just add/level items and creatures but also adds/changes damn near everything in the game from factions to quests. Some changes are subtle others are big. This doesn't include all the added quests and enemies.

However some just can't decide between one or the other of the major overhauls so they go the FCOM route. FCOM is a merge of OOO+Frans+MMM+warcry. Be aware that it is quite the install!

I already knew about FCOM but had never really tried to install it, but ive just reinstalled oblivion so it should be able to work this time , so what about warcry dimensions, does that have more items?(that's the only reason I used frans/mmm for ages because of the masses of new creatures and items)

@GingerTom: WOW!!! That torrent would be fantastic to install on top of a clean install! Sure save a ton of time anyway as it also has 20+ other mods not related to FCOM.

@Cygarniczka: Number 1 (Oblivion Warcry) IS compatible with OOO.

Oblivion Dimensions is NOT compatible with OOO/FCOM.

As to whether it is worth the hassle.....that is completely up to you!

If you make a current backup of your oblivion folder prior to installing it then I don't see any problem as you can quickly recover if things go south on you.

I will say that they recommend you install FCOM to a clean vanilla oblivion but what fun is that????? :dodgy:

Definate yes on MBP or MBP++.

Xeo5 - you may get a few googly eyes, just make sure xeo.esp is at the bottom of your LO and you should be ok.

I do recommend folks use XeoSP++ rather than Xeo5 as it plays a bit nicer with other mods.

oh ok, its just I preferred the characters in xeo5(ive used them both) but if xeosp is more compatible ill use that.

Edit:wait, wont I run into problems with the new items, I just saw it required body mods, and I have hgec for fcom, but I cant find Roberts body for it.

Edit 2:i give up :/ its got to many incompatibilities and all ive really got it for is the mass of items and i just cant be bothered to find replacements for every single mod. sorry for wasting your time guys but its just not worth it to me.

Can someone in plain English list me the installation order with the numbers in the parenthesis with accordance to the installation order. I will manage the rest of the custom installation picking the right & correct choices to avoid incompatibilities and conflicts.

I really recommend this video for installlatino of FCOM. Either way the process of installing FCOM will take you hours and just because this video is long (has couple parts each about 15 min) doesn't mean it won't take you the same time you watch the video.

I (think) successfully managed to install FCOM. At least I don't see any abnormalities in the game like walking heads or CTDs. I see some changes in the game like creatures behavior, different creatures (i.e. red goblins).

Is there way to know for sure you did install it correctly?

If you load up the game with 300_Test.esp active, you will automatically be teleported to the first testing room.

There are 30 different test cells in all. Each cell includes different containers and spawn points. The spawns are behind an invisible barrier so you can examine the creatures/NPCs behavior, faction aggression, AI, etc. safely.

Use the console command "coc 300TestCell00" through 29 to view them all. The first few cells may not have any spawns since they contain adventurer spawn lists, which have a high "chance of none".

Is there some other significant way to test the FCOM? I want to double check my buttons and zip my pants right.

That torrent for FCOM is 2.28GB in size. Definitely bigger then I thought So I'll probably stick to OOO if its compatible with my mods. I did look through the links and couldn't find a list of mods its not compatible with. Can anybody with more experience then me let me know which mods I have that aren't compatible with OOO?

Harvest Flora

I am not really topnotch expert on OOO, but I know that OOO includes Harvest Flora mod. My recommendation is to uninstall Harvest Flora prior to installing OOO, just to be on the safe side.

UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp

Using this plugin is outdated way of using mods in Oblivion. I see you don't use Wrye Bash, a very useful tool for mod players. Wrye Bash includes this fix in Bash patch. I recommend to use Bash for the future considering the vast number of plugins you're using. I recommend this pictural guide for Wrye Bash http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=35230 it will guide you step by step how to build your Bash patch.

ClocksOfCyrodiil.esp

Given that Capes and Cloaks 1.2 by Someone1074 mod is merged with OOO again, just to be on the safe side, it is better to uninstall ClocksofCyrodiil prior to OOO. You will have cloacks and capes anyway after you install OOO.

Cobl

Be sure to get the update for OOO Cobl. It's a patch to make Cobl work with OOO. It's probably just a esp file, but I am not sure.

OOO will almost definitively conflict with mods that change a lot of NPCs or leveled lists, including NPC New

Clothes by emyung and RealSwords by waalx.

This mod is probably incompatible with OOO. I advise against using this along with OOO or things will get messy.

----------------My question-------------------------------

What does it mean if coc 300TestCell30 cell is black. Whole black you cannot see almost anything expect the red ball that resets the creatures in the cell. You can still see that red ball giving lighting but everything else in the room is dark.

Thanks for the reply Cyngarniczka and thanks for the link. Looked through the earlier links and the one I found on the one site just re-directed me somewhere else. But 1 or 2 things you got wrong. Clocks of Cyrodil isn't gear or anything. It adds funtional clocks (telling ingame time).

I don't use Wyre Bash for several reasons. Foremost only 16 of the 242 mods I have installed are marked as mergeable plus I've tried Wyre Bash but I get some kind of error that I have no idea what it even means.

Sad that Dynamic Leveled Lists isn't probably compatible. I use it to increase the number of mobs that appear at spawn points for an actual challenge plus I like it since it lets me have mobs higher then my level spawn rather then just only mobs below my level spawning.

Would you happen to have a link to the OOO-COBL patch/update? I've searched around TESNexus,Planet ElderScrolls but that website ain't that good and I've searched using google but no actual links come up ;-{

Download Cobl package.

Open folder 02 Patches.

Extract file OOO 1.32-Cobl.esp to your Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data folder. Run OBMM and tick OOO 1.32-Cobl.esp

Use BOSS to arrange the right load order for OOO 1.32-Cobl.esp

Btw I am not sure but your load order seems to be off the way a bit. Do you use boss? I recommend using boss if you've got so many mods.
