Nessa Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Type V Replacer for NV This is a port of Luchaire's Type V for FO3 to New Vegas. It uses the same textures as Type 3 so any texture replacers and races should work with this as well. All FO3 outfits are thanks to Luchaire. I did the new NV outfits. Base Body (Screenie by Luchaire): New NV Conversions (Oops! Luchaire did the FO3 Sexy Nightwear!) Also I did up Type V versions for all the latest DLC's. Caveats There may be clipping or animation weirdness on a few outfits. If you run into any, let me know and I'll fix it. There is a chance I missed an outfit somewhere. Let me know if you run into it. Dismemberment theoretically works. Everything is in place for it, but I have it turned off in my game so I have no idea if I did it correctly on every outfit. If something is wonky in that regard let me know which outfit and I'll repair it. (Hopefully!) Type V for Vanilla Only: Type V for NV 1.3 Version History 1.3 - Added Re-enforced Leather Armor, fixed leather gloves. 1.2 - Fixed Undies. Added an esp to handle gloves for 1 outfit (so far). 1.1 - Fixed vaultsuits 1.0 - Initial Release Type V for DLC's: Type V DLC (1.1).7z Version History 1.1 - Fixed Patient Gown and added undies to the Starlet dress. (How did I miss that!? ) 1.0 - Initial Release My other Type V Conversions: Gypsy Outfits PE Dress Vegas Girl Outfits Recommended: Grab Lex's Ponchos for some fantastic clothes.
nichopoleve Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I put version 1.1 into my data folder and now my character has no nipples and a black panty. How do I get her to be nude when she is not using armor or clothes?
Phelps1247 Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 You either don't have any textures or didn't use archive invalidation.
Nessa Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 What Phelps said. The wonky black undies thing means it's using the original vanilla body textures. All textures are included in the download, just make sure FOMM is doing its archive invalidation thing.
Nessa Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Just updated the DLC to 1.1. I was playing along and noticed the Starlet dress didn't have any undies! *laughs* Also fixed the annoying clipping with the patient gown finally.
Nessa Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Annnnd.... just updated the main monster file as well with a few updates. It now includes an esp. It's only there to fix the gloves on ONE outfit and that's it. (The outfit was assigned the wrong gloves in vanilla!)
Nessa Posted February 19, 2012 Author Posted February 19, 2012 Updated the main file to 1.3. For some idiotic reason I apparently never converted the mark2 leather armor. Which... meant I had to update the leather gloves so they connect to the arms.
revanag Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Wow, this used to be my favourite body replacer in FO3. Now the only think which stops me from using typev in NV is that it's probably without BnB ,right?
Nessa Posted February 25, 2012 Author Posted February 25, 2012 I don't even know what BnB is, so it's likely without it! Is that like bouncy "girls" for Oblivion? TGND has those technically. This body doesn't though. Luchaire put a lot more work into TGND than TypeV.
revanag Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 BnB == Bouncing Natural Breasts, I put "n" in low case specially because BNB is basically another body replacer for NV with HUUUGE breasts which in my opinion is not realistic/sexy/whatever By BnB I mean something like my conversions of Type3 exeter's armor. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=40227 Barely know what TGND is Coz never played Oblivion ( shame on me ). I love typeV and your conversions in the screens looks beautiful. Do you think you could try to add bouncing animation to them? Or maybe I could help with this? (I'm not skilled enough to make armors or true conversions ,however learned quick way to add bouncing and sometimes fix clippings etc) At least, maybe it's worth to try 2-3 armors with body to see how it looks.
Nessa Posted February 26, 2012 Author Posted February 26, 2012 Oh so THAT is what it means! I'm not opposed to the idea, though it's potentially a decent amount of work. (Not at all impossible though!) The trick would just getting the nakey body to work. From there it's basically just copying the weights on certain outfits. Most clothing would just require the chest area to be re-weighted. Most Raider stuff, the dresses, that sort of thing. Heavier stuff like metal wouldn't require any change. Unfortunately, most of the game -is- lighter stuff so it's quite a few clothes to go through. But.. not really a prohibitive amount. Anyway, if someone were to get a working nakey body working... I could go through the outfits fairly quickly. The real problem is I'm in an Oblivion mood lately and am shifting my work in that direction. New Vegas has a hard time keeping my attention for long. (Eventually I have nothing do to. Oblivion always has some new world to visit.)
revanag Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Anyway' date=' if someone were to get a working nakey body working... I could go through the outfits fairly quickly. [/quote'] mhmm, done Seriously I made typeV body with bounce, and I'm quite satisfied with final effect. However..I've noticed that TypeV body uses awful Vanilla shoulders. Is this possible for you to match them with narrowed shoulders by dimon99 ? Pretty sure, all bodies on nexus using it. Or is it too much to do?
Nite_Star Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Love the breast shape nice, round and not too large.. Pubic region is also a lot better then some I have seen, not to hairy of bald as a plucked chicken..
Nessa Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 My, those shoulders look infinitely better. It seems the animations in FO3 (which is what TypeV was designed for) are quite a bit different. I was just doing some testing in FO3 and noticed everything looked a lot better. I'll check out Type3 narrowed and your updated TypeV and see what happens. Should everything work out, updating the clothing meshes won't be too bad. (Not all armor would need updating fortunately.) Oooo. I like the smaller hands from Type3 too. TGND had smaller hands as well. I'll do some tinkering.....
Nite_Star Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I have it downloaded but not installed until update gives it BnB support. Agree this needs BnB Bouncing natural Breasts...
Nessa Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 Is there anything else to BnB support aside from the skeleton? I've been testing the naked body (heh, kind of fun actually) and I'm not actually seeing any difference. But... maybe one needs to be a guy to notice these things. On the shoulder front, I'm having some issues getting the weighting down right. Not sure if I'm going to proceed with it or not but I still have some tinkering to do. ANYWAY, assuming the BnB thing is working, once a finished nakey body is done, it's all that is needed is to copy the weight over again on the top parts of some outfits. Not a major job really. I'll likely post a finished nakey body for testing here first before I start the conversion of outfits.
Nessa Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 All you need to do is weight the body to the BNB skeleton. Simple' date=' just eats up a lot of time. [/quote'] I've been testing the naked body made by revaneg. It seems to be weighted to the BnB skeleton only I'm not seeing any particular change in game. I guess I was expected hyper bouncy or something but everything looks the same that I can see. I'll have to go over the BnB readme again. The real trouble is the new shoulders. Bone-weight copy of course fails for Fallout meshes on the shoulders. (Supposedly the script gets confused, though it never does for Oblivion meshes.) So far I've been having to weight them by hand. If you use the original TypeV body in the download, run left and you can see some pretty bad deformation. I'm attempting to kill that with the narrow shoulders and get everything else working as well. We'll see how it goes..
Nessa Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 WELL... turns out I need to replace the animations -as well- as the skeleton. Which makes sense now that I think about it. I'm currently testing a new version with narrowed shoulders. I'm also going to test the smaller hands since let's face it: vanilla hands are gorilla hands. If this works out, it's basically going to be a new body so I'm going to leave Lucahaire's Type V as it is and ... I guess come up with a new name.
Nessa Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Alrighty... initial testing of the nakey body is working. Narrow shoulders and BnB whatever are working. No crazed deformations when using the BnB animations. Plus things are so bouncy it's actually making me cringe. (It hurts when they bounce boys.) Pics: For those that want to try it: Please note, you're going to need the BnB animations and skeleton to see it in action. For the "new" body (if this works out), I'm going to just name it something new and then do conversions for THAT. I'll leave the old Type V for anyone not interested in BnB. I'm going to leave this up for testing for a day or two before starting conversions. I'll do Vanilla first, then the DLC's, then I'll cover my other converted outfits. Any thoughts on a name? I'm thinking Type N so far but that's slightly blase...
Nessa Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 I guess I'm going with Type N BnB. Sort of a mouth full but I've already got some folders using the name. I'm making decent progress through the vanilla outfits so far. I may sort of dress some of them up a bit. Add jewelry and what not to the dresses maybe. We'll see. Eeeks! I'm going to have to make new screenies.
gregathit Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Well, make sure you properly installed the textures and then use FOMM to toggle off and then toggle back on archive invalidation. Sometimes you have to switch it on and then off a couple of times and it will start working.

I tried a few nude mod, but each time i've got the same problem : textures are crappy, and body shape is strange like in the screenshots of JohnDoe6000000, two post earlier. I tried to install these mods using nexus mod manager and also manually, but for the same results. And i also tried, as you said, to deactivate it and reactivate a lot of time, but it still don't work.
