HELP PLZ ! neck gap in my character plz help !

hey everyone i wanted to ask cause i am not a pro and i dont know wtf is going on, my player has a neck gap not a big one just a lil one but i dont want it (with armor it is hidden). i use better males, geonox faces, XCE, mystic knight animation, realvision ENB and a lot more but i think the prob caused from one of these or something ! plz help me

try posting the mods list you use, also if occurs with female or males, body type (cbbe, 7b,unp,etc), if dnt know how take mods list, just use print screen and post like a pic at attachs, because just posting some and saying alot more its complicated, because some minor gaps from some textures just can be seen with some lights effect, like ele, rlo,etc.

ah btw, the textures you got for male chars do you checked if already that already have for body and head? (just open your texture zip you download and check if have also head there (not female) dnt do that checking at you skyrim folder, check at textures zip you download if dnt havent that download again, because :

A) if dnt havent head its going use vanilla one so will occur gap

B ) if that have, but you toke another texture and overwrite previous one and that dnt havent all necessary head textures will occur gaps

C) if that have head but not the other head necessary textures will for sure show a gap with some light effects

**ill try soon i got home send some textures for males to you test, so you will can say with more sure if its a missing file from your textures, dnt worry ill not send the "regular main face" texture, ill just going send the others maps so you char will keep same face.

you overwrote one with another , ok, lets do that :

copy your textures from your game do a folder and create a zip, here at forum click at more reply options and post the textures like a attach, because if i upload mines will mess with yours if you using nexus mod manager and not mod organizer, i can try fix the seams, but dnt ecpect that to be perfect , depends alot of light sources. try at least the msn head file so can test, but if can upload all male head textures will be better.

and just to know when i go to showracemenu and in the extra section and i change neck size the neck dont change size but the gap disappear but this i have to do everytime i open the game thats the prob

yea i know its because the texture at real dnt fit right with body and when you do that its force a texture stretch(i dnt know if wrote right sorry) and that covers the gap, in resume its almost what i will do, i will going open your textures and will repaint the final of neck with a similar color of head so that will not show.

**Just head textures its necessary, in most of cases just the msn one, but send the others because ill try do all with same to avoid conflict with light sources.

I will do less or more like its at attach , got the idea? ill cover the final area of neck head.

head just, but the ones you got at game, just go at your skyrim and copy that heads, because you are using other mods i cant for sure replicate the same head of yours, but if you got the ones from you game will still same so no change the ones you already use , just the gap (with luck) will be covered and dissapear.

Edited : malehead.dds , malehead_msn.dds , malehead_s.dds , that ones.

ffs there are SO MANY folders i dont know which exactly are for the head ffs i dont know what to do ! i try to find out from better males if he says the manual installation path so i go there and grab the folders but he doenst in the nexus site ffs

look at \data\textures\actors most mods use the right path, but sometimes use \data\textures\Mod Name\etc or \data\textures\actors\Mod Name\etc, some goes really weird and worst.

** theres easy way use the windows search point at your skyrim and do a search by folders and subfolders with that criteria : *male*.dds

that will bring some, just cant say if right ones, depends the amount of faces mods you are using.

***Really sorry cant help too much about nexus mod manager or do print screens / pics for that, i use mod organizer its differente, like you seen at attach.

yea, just replace mine with the ones you use, inside game take some screenshoots from outdoors and inside a house, near a light source also (candles, lanterns,etc), so i can seen how that goes and have a idea if its possible or not keep trying, if dnt goes good at all just need copy yours originals textures and replace with the ones i made.

neck gap is a problem with weight isn't it? Setweight 0 and adjust to your liking.
