Nexusmods.com banned me when I posted my document explaining a solution I found for persistent CTD's the recurred on a regular basis.

The repair document stops CTD, freezes, and much more. It will help you a lot, and it will saver time and trouble fumbling with things like TES5edit and Steambackup.
