Malakar Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Hello everybody,I decided to uninstall skyrim and start all over again because my game was cluttered with mods and it had a lot of esp files in it's data directory that weren't managed by mod managers so I wanted to clean up and finally get rid of all those mods i don't need anymore. So I looked around the forums at the nexus and on loverslab and there is a lot of new stuff and some stuff that I would like to try out but since i don't want to mess up I wanted to make sure that my installation order is right because I got a lot of errors and so on before because I installed mods in the wrong order and so on. (try to keep track of installation orders if you're using ~240-255 mods )I have to redownload skyrim anyway so I have time to wait for your responses. If you have suggestions and so on please tell me. What confuses me most are the body mods.... CBBE,CB++,CBBP,BBP,TBBP and so on...I don't even know that these names mean. This would be the order that I would install my mods in:1:SKSE2:USKP (all of them since I own the legendary version of Skyrim)3:SkyRE4:Realistic Ragdolls and Force5:XP32 Skeleton6:Player exclusive animation path 7:FNIS8:Animation Replacer (haven't decided which one yet)10:CBBE + Better males (or whatever it was called xD) 11:CBBE Body+Face Textures (haven't decided on which ones yet) + univision Face12:Bodyslide 2 and outfit studio 13:Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide and TBBP HDT (Then I need to look up a guide on how to get TBBP to work) 14:SkyUI + MCM 15:Enhanced Character Edit16:Skyrim - Community- uncapper 17:Apachii Sky Hair (and 1 or 2 other hair mods) 18:Realistic Water Two19:(Maybe Tropical Skyrim - It doesn'r replace armor meshes, only armor textures)20:SkyJubs invisible helmets21:HDT High Heels System22:TERA armor collection CBBE standalone 23:Race Compatibility + Race Mod24:SexLab modsfor 17-23:I don't think the installation order for those really matters.I'm sure I forgot some mods.... Does the installation order look right?
xgkf Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 My first suggestion would be to use Mod Organizer to do your installing. You can basically keep your actual Skyrim Data folder completely vanilla and clean of mods this way because it installs mods in a separate folder and uses profiles that you can customize to use/not use certain mods more-or-less at will. This is also helpful in the event that you do make a mistake in installing something because nothing is ever actually overwritten.
spartan40 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hello, I would start with these links to help you http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25219-getting-started-with-sexlab-how-to-install-sexlab-and-its-requirements/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/26468-guide-want-a-ctd-free-and-blistering-fast-skyrim-game-here-you-go/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21438-illustrated-tips-guidelines-making-beautiful-female-characters/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28507-how-to-install-hdt-step-1-click-this-an-overly-descriptive-tutorial/ http://www.loverslab.com/forum/53-hdt-physics-extension-downloads/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28922-hdt-breast-physic-and-collision-for-sevenbase-unpunpb-cbbe-and-topmodel/ Good luck, and I'd suggest using Mod Organizer, and then Wryebash for merging files if you need to. OH! and for sure use this: https://github.com/loot/loot/releases/tag/v0.5.0 Its a godsend!
gvman3670 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I'd also suggest making the switch to Mod Organizer since you're doing a reinstall anyway. There are a ton of good reasons to use MO. And one cool one is that it doesn't matter what order you install the mods in. All you do is arrange them in the left (installed mods) pane in the order that produces the virtual overwrites you want or need. Then there's the multiple profiles (with their own ini and save files, plus can use different mods in each), and the unmolested Skyrim folder.
