Andragon Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Hi,  I recently started playing again but I have not been playing nor modding for nearly 1.5 years. I am totally rusty, not even knowing what I modded way back.  Anyhow I just recently switched my game to HDT and it works fine for the npc. The only ones not working are the standalone npcs. I can't do much about the ones from other modders but I would love to change my own ones (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32922) or actually make an optional set.  From my understanding I only need to make new meshes with Bodyslide2 and have the CBBE ones I need and keep the textures. Is there anything else I should think of?  What do I do with the UNP meshes. Is there a UNP TBBP mesh out there?  Any help would be appreciated to get me a quick start into modding again  Â
TheDriedFinger Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 As you already know, the key here is to change the mesh file that is the body mesh for the NPC that you would like to exhibit HDT physics. It usually is as simple as locating the body mesh that the standalone NPC uses. From mod to mod, the exact location of this file can vary. However, most of the time, these meshes are located in subfolders of Data\Meshes\actors\character\. Once found, you just need to replace femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif with the BBP versions. Â I'm not sure if a UNP BBP body exists, but I know that UNP derivatives, such as UNPB andSeveNBase have BBP versions.
pclp2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 If the NPC use own skeleton, you need to also replace the skeleton.
pringles89 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Bodyslide for unp/unpb allows for tbbp http://www.loverslab.com/topic/11468-bodyslide-unp-v04-30-sliders/?do=findComment&comment=254938
gvman3670 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 And there are a couple UNP T/BBP meshes available. I have two here (from Nexus) and I was told there is another one that is better, but I forget where it is.
