Watched it.

 

From what I can see your selecting all of the bones alot. I honestly never select any of the bones ever. I have no idea if that is actually doing anything, but I dont do it, so maybe.

 

The smooth phase looked good, but I always make sure to just have the single piece selected. So no vertices or whatever selected, when I add in the smooth modifier. And again, this probably isnt a big deal.

 

The export phase looked good.

 

I got alittle confused during your nifskope phase(your opening a closing alot of things). I did however notice that you placed the alpha in the top property slot and the shader is placed in the bottom slot. I remember awhile back someone saying that the shader HAS to be in the top properties slot. He did say this would cause CTDs if not done this way. I don't if this is true or not, but I have never done that step differently. I always place the shader property on top of the alpha one.

can someone tell why all of sudden we only get 3dmax tutorials and no more blender ?? does skyrim work with blender or not ?? i have not been able to find any tutorial for blender ever since skyrim was released.

 

maybe i should place this in my sig:

The NiAlpha has to be in the second property slot.

The LightningShader in the first property slot.

 

now it works just fine, thank you, everyone :)

This 3ds Max keep on messing with me. BSdismemberSkin modifier, Skin and Editable Mesh have their own object location data. I know that the safest way is to just do all the editing in Editable Mesh but sometimes it's get messed around, here I just copy "skin" and object change it location.

So no matter what I'm gonna do in "Editable Mesh" it remain the same because somehow "skin" "BSdismemberSkin" modifiers have higher priority in object location. So I wounder is there any way to fix it? Like tell 3ds Max to take data only from Editable Mesh.

 

Anyway I finally make the weight slider work correctly. YOU NEED EXPORT ARMOR ONLY!!! Then in nifscope just add it to the body.

Now I need bone/weight correction tutorial because the panties really messed up. Or maybe I should just leave the old skin data but then it's not looking perfect too.

CherryHotaling, you are the best ever for making this tutorial.I am a total noob as far as modding goes, but after i followed your tutorial to the letter i managed to make my first fully working mod :D .I tried it in game and the physics work like a charm in all breast sizes!I worked with the forsworn armor and now i have a worrior princess with jiggling tits:rolleyes:Again,thanks for your great efford which gives us noobs the opportunity to make something..well not from schratch...but it's something right?I cant post it ,since, i forgot who is the original creator to ask for permittion or give reps (I don't want in any case to be called a thief!).Also i don't know how to cap videos from Skyrim to apload it somewhere for everybody to see and tell me who the creator is!Again,thanks for everything!

Who really care about it? At least here. =) Anyway if you posted it, someone actually gonna say who is creator so no worries.

I mostly want to know if you can just remove the painted weights entirely from a bone without removing the bone. I have a pair of shoulders in my dragonscale armor that are moving. I dont want them to move at all' date=' but when I use the paint tool to remove painted weights, it just paints them somewhere else. If the painted vertex isnt connected to another one, then I cant reduce the weight at all. I think this has something to do with normalization, where the weight has to equal 1.0 between all the connected vertices. I've have tried looking up on how to do this through google, but all the responses are very short and to the point. Exclude this, remove vertices, etc...

 

Frustrated and loving it all the same.

 

7:52 *Update* Just figured out how to select vertices in the skin modifier, going to give this a whirl. I didn't realize that I had to have envelope selected to let click on the vertices button, sometimes I feel so freaking dumb trying to operate this.

 

8:05 *Update2* Tried to exclude the verts, which got some very interesting results early, but going through all the bones fixed that. I do however get a bad skin data when trying to export so thats out the window.

 

8:20 *Update3* Haha this is getting really fun even though I am failing so terribly, but I tried including the vertices I excluded into the spine bone, turning of normalization, then taking the abs effect down to 0 for all the vertices and it exported fine, but the shoulders no longer show up. I know this is probably exactly what your not supposed to do, but I do kinda feel getto fabulous right now.

I just had a light bulb moment where I think I might just be able to make the shoulders a separate piece entirely, but then I have to figure out how to get that into the game without causing it to crash, which actually might be much harder than just figuring out the weights.

On the right side when you click on the skin modifier it shows the list of bones.

You can click on the Breast bones and click remove.

Please guys help me with this. It's totally killing me :s

Do not scale complete object with modifiers. Only in editable mesh mode. If you do that - you will have bug with pos.

Del modifiers, merge copy of body mesh with yore mesh than del. body elements. Than check for skin modifier work. Fix bugs if needed.

in BSdismemberSkin del 22, 25 set. only 20 need. than select all faces.

I don't scale, I just move, or it's still counting? And what about merge? You are talking about Import -> Merge? So I need to re-open my body and objects, copy from their modifiers and delete them?

No hun sorry.

You can of course mod a body to different proportions but they must match vertex count etc. Also if you do that then you have to make all new armor for your new creation lol.

 

Btw that looks awesome! you just have to weight paint a tad and it will fix the bust going through the chest.

Does editing armor/clothing like this make it so that the clothing has the animation on it like your body mod?

Also do we have to rig the boots/gloves to your body in order to stop clipping?

Im just wondering because i dont want to put this on plate armor and then have moving breasts.

 

Yes if you edit it the way I explain then you will have the animations etc working like my mod.

Its a tutorial on how to get it to work and fit to my CHSBHC BBP mod

 

For plate armor if you want less or no movement to the breasts you can change the breast weights to barely effect it.

 

should i use the weight tool to do this and if so, should i reduce the weight or increase it?

You would want less weight for less bounce. So a much cooler(blue) color would more much less bounce compared to red for maximum movement.

For those who having problems like this:

I made a Small Envelope weight FIX tutorial

First you need to open Physics-Bone-T-Pose.max Import the body.

 

Optional: Then open cherry animation to see how the mesh will react while you character is moving.

 

It's gonna look like this

In order to fix it, select the object, then chose skin modifier -> Edit Envelopes -> Click Vertices -> Select element (I use it because I need to edit a big part of my panties). Then chose the bone that covers the most, the part you want to edit.

Then click on the object. Be suse you select the whole object, not just the part from it.

And drag Abs. Effect: to the "1". It gonna get it normal shape.

Ind if you now save the object it gonna remember it's position so better do this fixing without loading the animation.
