Rei Sakura Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I am wanting a good face texture that looks better than the standard one. post a link to one that you think will suite my character. if you need a screen shot let me know and i will attach one to this post.
Suludi Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Why don't you simply fire up the Nexus and start looking there?
Rei Sakura Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 I have been looking for awhile now. i am currently using better female face by bella but my characters face still looks like the normal one but a bit more better.
Thulas Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17704/? You could try this, it was listed in the texture mod for CHSBHC that I already gave you, which means that they probably work together rather well. I can't garantee it though due to the fact that I neither use that body nor texture myself.
dobmc Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 better female face by bella What a rollicking start. Please tell me you're not serious about this.
winny257 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I would never use "better female by bella," I have not already used in oblivion, I do not like it, it looks very artificial. as this is even better. Coverwomen by mrLenski http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3563/? http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/8972/coverwomen00.jpg
ElectricSheep Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Yeah, I agree with the posters above me, Bellas's awful. Use either Coverwomen without makeup or Dimon's face.
Sunja44 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 To get really nice looking faces (for your player char only) you need: -Race Menu or ECE to be able to edit face morphs, aka to be able to alter face shapes in a much better way as by the default Skyrim character creation menu / race menu In addition you are able to add dozens of other mods for hairs, brows, freckles, eye colors etc. In addition RM or ECE give you the possibility to apply any possible color settings depending on Hue, Saturation, Brightness and Alpha) -good looking face textures that should come out of one hand, which means the modder created not only the face textures, but the body textures too. Otherwise you might get neck seams, which can be only solved if you have some photoshop knowledge. Caliente's TexBlend might not work for all possible combinations -Advanced high resolution makeup tints for 2k resolutions or maybe even higher.
AgendaDysphoria Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I think the face textures, makeup etc included with SG Textures Renewal work nicely. I know a few others, Women of Skyrim, Windsong Skyrim Character Overhaul and Lith Face Enhancement
Sunja44 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I think the face textures, makeup etc included with SG Textures Renewal work nicely. I know a few others, Women of Skyrim, Windsong Skyrim Character Overhaul and Lith Face Enhancement Yep they do nicely (I use them myself) and cover the most used body shapes (UNP and CBBE), there is a versions for either shape....and the best is, body and face textures are out of one hand, which means no neck seams at all.

Btw I notice a slight neck seam on your pics :-) Just joking, they are nice. Race Menu, vertex editing and such stuff you need when you want: -perfection -more variants/options you are able to adjust relative fast and to your personal likeness.
nutluck Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 I use to use coverwoman but when I started using Fair Skin Complexion it does faces as well so started using it instead and I am happy with it. I think either of those are the best ones I have personally tried. A new one have not tried that looks promising is Smashing Face, It is suppose to get a patch to work with Fair Skin eventually when it does I will give it a try and see what I think.

I still use the Fair Skin Complexion Sweaty Body option as specular map, it's still one of the best sweat maps out there and perfectly compatible with SG (although the SG sweat map is nice too, the FSC sweat map looks more heavy for me, more sweat).
gvman3670 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Any texture pack comes with face textures. All of the 15 I've downloaded have anyway. So if you're using SG Texture Renewal you have body, hand, feet and FACE textures all in one package. The best thing to get so you can make an attractive character face is Enhanced Character Edit. Then throw in some brow, lip, eye and hair mods to play with. And don't go overboard with the makeup or you'll have something that looks like that horrible Better Females by Bella. You could try the Pretty Face or Univision Face mods, but when I use those I overwrite them with the body/face texture I am using to keep there from being a color difference between the head and body.

If you're using a UNP variant body try out the FSC Univision sweaty texture that are on the UNP Top Model download page. I've been using this texture for a while and really like it. It's realistic but has no real flaws (like scars and such). And I really like the sweaty look it gives. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41051/?
Suludi Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 What's wrong with Bella's faces? Without makeup, they look nice and natural. I don't want glamour girls running through the wilderness.

Bella's has heavier makeup than anything else does. If you just use the face textures in the texture package you download (from SG or whatever) the makeup is more toned down. Plus ECE (and RM as well) allow you turn down the alpha with makeups so it's not so strong and overdone.
winny257 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 "Sigurd44"I know that a small neck seam is present, but it is not a problem-texture, it is on the body (meshes)! I use the CHSBHC of cherry, this body has never been brought up to date stood so I have to live with this neck seam.

The good old FSC Sweaty Body sweat map had a CBBE variant too. I am always up to test new specular maps. I will test this one even with a CBBE body, because the shape differences does not matter that much for specular maps.

All of them are good and you can't go wrong with any of them in my book.

I have been using the UNP skinny version so far, been considering trying one of the others. This one looks like on low setting it still has very small boobs which I like.
