windbrand123 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Hiya,  I'm not sure which mod is causing it, my character's feet are sunk a few inches into the ground, probably some messed up height offset. I don't see any value in enhanced character edit that can raise the height offset (not height). How do I fix this? I've already tried uninstalling high heels system, didn't work.  Relevant active mods: - XP32 max compatibility skeleton - Megalov's CBSBHC body - HDT high heels system (now uninstalled) - Pretty female idles - HDT physics extension - Unofficial Skyrim, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, Dragonborn patch - Skyrim Project Optimization - Climates of Tamriel - Better static meshes  Thanks.
davidporter89 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 i have seen this in the vanilla game. but if you want, most of those could contribute to an aggravated version of it.
Veladarius Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Put the HDT High Heels back in and set the base level above 0.
windbrand123 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 The HDT system doesn't change the height unless wearing an HDT heels. I rarely wear HDT heels so that would be useless.

You can apply the effect to any boots / shoes.  Also, what skeleton are you using? There have been some that were not positioned properly and what you are seeing was one of the symptoms.
windbrand123 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 I'm using XP32 max compatibility skeleton as mentioned in first post. I tried setting global offset in HDT heels mod menu, changing this value doesn't do anything unless I wear one of the HDT-compatible heels.
davidporter89 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 could you please check your ini files for a "fneardistance="
windbrand123 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 I don't have that value in skyrim.ini. What does fneardistance have to do with height offset?
davidporter89 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 nothing. it has to do with where things are rendered. the ground, your feet, and everything else. if it's not there, you didn't mess with it. so nevermind.
windbrand123 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 So does anyone know how to raise height offset with HDT high heels system when not wearing any high heels?
winny257 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 the problem caused solely the skeleton, my suggestion is use the skeleton is what the "Megalov's CHSBHC body" prescribed. edit: I in use exclusively the CHSBHC and I'm sure the XP32 caused me to 100% your problem.
