DoctaSax Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Very cool stuff - I may end up wanting to use that beach house in a quest mod... in a year or two I'd like to say though that people'd have much more of a chance to find these mods if you put them in the downloads section. It still allows you to keep the actual files in a remote location (there's a 'link to' option you can use instead of a direct upload to LL).

I had already done all the code and such for a VGU page (since they don't have DL pages at the moment) and figured I would at least copy the code to my about me section.. I'm very time limited. But may come back at a later date and build the actual DL pages here.. when I have more time to put into it. I also give anyone full permission to repost my old mods if they find them around.. there has got to be at least a 100 floating around from over the may years of Fallout. Thanks, ~ReZ
DoctaSax Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 No worries, just putting it out there The DL pages are pretty easy to make, most of 'em are exactly like a regular post, except for the file upload stuff etc.

Basic copy paste of the spoiler you created for them. Download the mods (to play with myself) repack them and upload them. Afterwards.. DoctaSax or any moderator could transfer the DL thread over to you. Then at some latter time you can tweak or change it to suit your needs. You would then have a proper downloads page for users to easily see and won't get buried as threads get created. Provided I have time.. lol. I have been very busy lately and working on various modular tutorials as well. Easy job creating DL pages though. If you like or don't mind the above, and I have time just give me the "go ahead" and the resident alien can time willing ... get to work

In a very small few I have other modders that have contributed, so credits would have to stay in tact. But in most part they are mods I had built years ago and now belong to the modding community. (Just be careful with Nexus releases, most will get you banned) The readme sections I posted are also old and just copied from what other people had saved from the originals. So if they state different just disregard. I had not had time to really go thru it all. But I think peeps know by now I share my toys I have a ton others that I will slowly trickle out. Some like the Sucker Punch Mech Companion "pictured below", I'm waiting on other authors to repost required files or assets. But feel confident they will soon. Also a few people have posted some of them already on this site and others. So I'm really not sure which ones already have download pages. All and All, Yes feel more then free to create DL pages for any I have posted or that you find. They have been mods that have been out for along time and don't and won't have the need to be updated by myself, So I really don't need access to them. Maybe just a quick link in a pm so I know they exist already. Thanks, ~ReZ

I kept the text as close as possible to your copy in the profile. Even kept a few of the photos and youtube videos. Hope Ashal don't mind.. Now you can clean up your profile page if you want. Let me know if there are any others you would like to have posted here. I can do the same with the downloads page or if you like someone else can. Just want to prevent them getting lost. As mentioned before Docta can easily turn the DL page over to you or whomever you decide to if you like. No problems. Until then I will keep on eye on them time allowing.
