I don't know what went wrong but hopefully someone will help me I can provide any information that is needed. Rayblue Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 What mod manager you were using? Make sure the mods aren't missing an .ESM master. If you're using MO, please position XPMS first before either Racemenu or ECE.
Guest Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 With a modlist like that it's important that you put the script heavy mods close to the top because below a certain number Skyrim has trouble loading them correctly. However, papyrus is very sensitive and many of the reports doesn't cause a direct CTD. I would still try to decrease the number of script heavy mods because it looks like that's where the problem is. You should to disable a few mods at a time until you find the culprit and if it still doesn't work there is probably something wrong with your install. Lastly, if you did any recent changes to your install, don't forget to rebuild your bashed patch.

I've re-organized the load order, cleaned the mods with TES5Edit and rebuild the Bashed 0 patch.
hryh23k9823u Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 CTD on start up after Beth logo is 99% times missing master (an esp depending upon another esp or esm plugin to work). You should run all your current loadorder in tes5edit and the missing master will pop up

You might be over the limit (I didn't count them), which is 255 active plugins (.esp and .esm combined), and if you are over the limit adding a new mod will remove another one. If one gets removed that is needed by others then there is the source of your crashes.

Mine's been having a CTD after the logo as well, and I haven't been able to figure out the load order. I was wondering if someone could help. Boss hasn't worked for me, because it doesn't recognize some of the mods. It should probably be noted that I'm using Nexus Mod Manager. Mine's been having a CTD after the logo as well, and I haven't been able to figure out the load order. I was wondering if someone could help. Boss hasn't worked for me, because it doesn't recognize some of the mods. It should probably be noted that I'm using Nexus Mod Manager. To many NPC mods is eventually to much a build can hadle its CTD for sure. Your system eventually can handle this you have many mods that will give CTD nomatter what system or enboost-memorypatch or other optimizers. I should if i where go read up some tutorials on how to proper install mods. I wonder what PC you have also seems your over the limited of what your rig can handle. gvman3670 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Move your unofficial patches up so they're directly after the DLC they're patching, and not way down the list....for starters. The only time I've ever had crashes at the start with LAL was when something overwrite my skeleton. That wiped me out using the bed and/or disrobing.
