crusher Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 DOH! OK, it's official, I'm a dweeb. sorry, folks. Thanks, ChrisWolf. ... took me awhile to figure out the same thing. Some things are so obvious it makes us stupid at times.

Some things are so obvious it makes us stupid at times. There are quite a few player controls that aren't explained in the game, there's nothing wrong with not knowing them or asking about them. I wouldn't say someone is stupid for not knowing, but i would say Bethesda is kinda stupid for not putting adequate player control explanations in the game. i had to figure out how to dismount a horse by trying all the controller buttons one at a time until it worked. Bethesda did learn their lessons at one point because when they introduced dragon riding there was a pop-up text explaining all the riding control buttons, yet, they didn't bother to introduce the same option for horses.
dobmc Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 DOH! OK, it's official, I'm a dweeb. sorry, folks. Thanks, ChrisWolf. Welcome to Skyrim. Little bit late for a welcome, isn't it? Nearly the game's 3rd year anniversary. ha, skyrim is already almost history, it's an old iron, but still the best. Nah not quiet. Especially when you mentioned "the best". Good game for horny teenagers and middle-ages men? Yes. Good, game "game"? No. Let alone mentioning 'amazing' is uncalled for. But mainly because I hate the dev of the game. Fucking TESO, you got to be kidding me… Tell me those sweet lies Bethesda. Keep on telling them. TESO is except question I would never buy. online RPG's I do not play! Tell me a game with the same quality as Skyrin that better is? I think that Can you not if you call me a game, then I tip my hat. Been away for a little while, only to see: Tell me a game with the same quality as Skyrin that better is? I think that Can you not if you call me a game, then I tip my hat. lmao, really now. But I think you'll do well in comedy. Especially that last line, I tip my hat. got me pretty hard in the stomach. So I was just scrolling through all the games that was released in 2011 and here is the list I came up with. The games in the list aren't necessarily made during 2011, but lets just say its, "modern". Some will overlap with Lother's list. I color-coded the list to differentiate games exclusive to consoles. Mass Effect, Dead Space, Assassin's Creed, Okami, Crysis, Patapon, Portal, L.A Noire, Witcher, inFamous, Zelda, Bastion, Catherine, Limbo, Just Cause, God of War, Red Orchestra, Splinter Cell, Dark Souls, Payday, Battlefield, Cave Story, Halo don't judge me! Well theres more out there. Also while I was typing the list out I bumped into Rage. Remember that disappointing game that had good a gameplay going but the conclusion was abrupt due to some budget/time constraint? Yea its funny cause I was reminded that even though id software were developing the game, Bethesda 'Softworks' were the publishers. God, what a disappoint game that was. Oh and please don't punish me for going overboard and listing more than 'a' game. I just wanted to show senpai my debating skills! If what you're looking for is an open world you can freely explore with lots of stuff to do and tons of stuff to craft/enchant/make/etc. then there is nothing better than Skyrim. And there will never be a game better than Skyrim in the future, unless its made by a different bunch of guys. Also if you like going through the same looking dungeon multiple times, doing the same tedious and useless stuff around the world, and playing on a shitty, decade-old combat engine, then Skyrim is your best choice. In reality people aren't talking about how you can toy around with the physics and do the trendy Fus-Ro-Dah shouts. Their either talking about how to optimize the game or showcasing their lovely waifus. Mostly mediocre or just plain disgusting due to the person's fetish. Go play Minecrat/Terraria/Starbound if you want to really 'freely' explore and actually do 'lots' of stuff and actually have 'tons' of stuff to craft/enchant/make/etc etc. blah blah blah God what a disappointing game. Damn console ports, eh? It's so hard for PC users to understand the logic console users have.
gvman3670 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Halo don't judge me! I won't. I still play H2 on PC, play H3 occasionally and still play Reach fairly often. I was with a few friends terrorizing the Big Team and Team Slayer lists last night. And yucking it up all the while. Like having a group competition to see who could get the most grenade sticks!
winny257 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 "dobmc"I know all these games, none of them has my "surpassed expectation".most major of them are not comparable with a roleplaying. shooter, action and so on none of them has a playing time longer than 30 hours.I love games with a gigantic world, the greater "the more" better. I do not like games based on quickness. as it is "shooters" in the case for this reason these are games not better.

I apparently like shooters. Heck, in Halo: Reach I have one Inheritor ranked account and the other is a Reclaimer. The point? I play shooters a whole bunch, too.
