ScreamingSquid218 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Ok, Ive tried asking this before and i got some help but not enough. Could someone please give me step by step installation of the HDT body with pregnancy belly? Ive tried making the body before and i got width growing breasts and a torpedo belly.
blabba Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Umm I don't see the problem exactly? The belly looks about right I think. The reason why it may not be exactly 'pregnancy' shaped is because it's impossible with both TBBP weights. Skyrim has a 4 weights per vertex rule.
gerra6 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I think part of the problem might still be the weightpainting though. Sure, you've got a maximum of 4 influence bones per vertex, but there's really no good reason for that banding unless the weightpainting itself has issues. Post the file and I'll take a quick look at it. I can probably toss together a tool that will automatically eliminate that sort of weight banding, if it is what I think it is.

If your talking about the belly shape shadows, I think that's a normal map issue? At least for me when I tested the HDT body's pregnancy slider it came out very smooth for me. But yea, could never figure out a good normal map that played nice with non-preg and preg bodies.
gerra6 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Could be a normal map. I do know that you can get banding exactly like that if you have an area weighted with a bad gradient and then apply a scale modifier. I'd have to inspect the weightpainting on the mesh to know one way or the other. I should also mention, if the gradient is good but the weightpainting is too high, I have a tool to fix that as well.
ScreamingSquid218 Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 i think these are the files you've wanted? These are the female body files. i selected HDT CBBE bodyslide, and set the big belly slider to 50%. femalebody_0.nif femalebody_1.nif
gerra6 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Well, there were some oddities in the weightpainting of the mesh. The _0 and _1 breast weights were radically different, which can cause some nasty rendering artifacts. The belly weightpainting is a bit weird. Both _0 and _1 match, and I don't see any obvious source for the nasty banding. On the other hand, the weight is heavily concentrated at the belly belly button and appears to use a spherical gradient from there...that type of painting is a recipe for a cone-shape the moment a scale modifier is applied, which I guess is what you were complaining about. So, to fix the breast weightpainting, I ran the meshes through Mesh Rigger to ensure that the _0 and _1 weights match. For the belly, your best bet is to find a mesh with belly weighting that you like, and then use Mesh Rigger to copy it onto your body. output.7z
ScreamingSquid218 Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Do you have any good recommendations for the belly?
