gooboo Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Hello everybody! Right now I don't play with any enbs on my computer- most of them are too demanding performance-wise to make it worthwhile, as I do not have an amazing graphics card. However, while I was editing some skyrim photos in photoshop for a mod I made on the Nexus, I began to wonder whether or not there was an enb mod out there that looked like the edited pictures I was making. Because I've never played with any enbs, I don't know much about what's out there. Just a quick look on the Nexus shows there's a bajillion of them, so I was wondering if the experts here would be willing to lend me a hand. I've uploaded some images I edited to look nice in photoshop as well as the originals, so you can see what kinds of changes I would like an enb to make in my game. Overall the changes are a little more atmospheric and slightly more saturation in color. Most of the enbs I've seen either go nuts with the colors and make them waay too bright and saturated or add many other lighting/shadow changes that make the enb too heavy to use with my graphics card. Is there an enb that looks kind of like these images? Is it also not too demanding performance-wise? Again, these are images I changed in photoshop, not screenshots from enbs. edited vanilla edited vanilla edited vanilla edited vanilla edited vanilla edited vanilla
Jexsam Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 You want an ENB that makes everything slightly hazier?
gooboo Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 I suppose- I kind of like the softer, atmospheric look.
janus29 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 You may like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40088/? Has a similar feel to what you're looking for, and performance is pretty good.
gooboo Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 That looks promising, I'll have to try it out.
gvman3670 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 This... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48554/? ...can do that and when you have the required mods added as well you can make it look like anything you want. And it has no performance loss. You can adjust brightness, colors, saturation, all kinds of things right on the fly using the MCM menu, too.
Womb Raider Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 This is realvision ENB, which uses COT, RLO, and something else. It's not dusk so it doesn't look similar now but I would recommend looking up various light mods and find what tickles your fancy best. EDIT: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12525/? also looks at depth of field mods, that's whats most likely causing the haziness, it's included in realvision if I'm not mistaken. Screenshot I took about a day ago.
Pyrus Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 You could try Phinix ENB, I'm really not sure exactly what you're looking for from the screen shots, a video would probably be better. Gopher uses Phinix in some of his mod highlight videos, this is about what my Skyrim looks like with Phinix ENB, CoT and ELFX.
Eiries Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Soft, bloomly, with a healthy dash of saturation? You want Rudy. Rudy is the child of Opethfeldt and brother of Polo. All are very similar, but Rudy suits what you're looking for the most.
crudo Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I'm trying to get similar results only I like my nighttimes to be dark. Here is what I've tried, supposedly not too bad performance-wise. The shot above was just after a rainstorm and the sun was just coming out. I use URWL for exterior lighting. It's very saturated and fantasy-like. I tone it down (saturation) using Imaginator, which has countless settings. I also got the Imaginator MCM menu mod, makes it much easier to use. Finally, I use Dynavision for the fuzzy depth of field look. I also added brighter, bigger campfires, brighter torches because my nights are so dark. It's been working quite well.

crudo Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I use ELFX for my interiors as well. Dynavision is worth trying. It's pretty unabtrusive and has some neat options, depending on if you like playing first or third person.
Sweatington Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 poloENB is the best ENB there is, hands down/up/around/all over the damn place.
Pyrus Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Found a good comparison video, it's from October so some may have changed since.
Derpakiin Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 If you're interested in my own custom ENB, I'd be happy to share it by request. Stable 60fps on my GTX 580.
gooboo Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 That looks pretty interesting, Derpakiin. I'd like to try it out and see what it's like myself.
