cramlow Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Can someone help me remember how to save a normal in Gimp? I've tried everywhich way DXT1, DXT3, DXT5, and each one saves a low quality, blocky version that shows up in game looking terrible. This is for the skin overlay. Thanks
blabba Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 dunno about gimp but I just recently found out for best quality normal maps you want to save as 8.8.8.8 or something like that for photoshop.

cramlow Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Thanks guys. Each one of those links has something helpful. I'm concluding there is something wrong with my GIMP install as the DXT exports are not saving in the quality they should be. I want Photoshop!
