Still having problems with Load Order

 I tried to create a game that was mostly stable, but despite my best efforts it is still crashing. I checked all the Read Me's and all the mods should be compatible and I used BOSS to sort out my Load order. There were a couple of mods BOSS did not recognize. I managed to sort LoversMagic, but with some of the mods I am at a lot of where to place them.

Cross Goodies for example is a house mod, but could very well be seen as a mod collection, because it included a host of other mods. The instructions said that the Cross Goodies esm needed to be loadwed after the CM Parters esm. Does that mean directly under it or is it ok if there are other mods between them just as long as it is below the other mod?

 

So if someone could look over and give me a few tips that would be great.

Download it unzip it and run the .exe that is inside it will load everything you have installed into the game when it hits a error in your load order it will stop and give a error message in the bottom right hand area read it fix it close tes4edit and repeat till it is able to load everything up without hitting any errors then try your game again.

Where did you find all those mods for Oblivion? Was it part of some AIO install? If not then I would bet allot of your issues would be related to mod dependency. So check and make sure you have the requirements installed for each mod. Lines 12-16 and their associated patches I could not find out very much on them, so no idea what their requirements might be, but they may conflict with line 56. For the load order, if BOSS was run then it is pretty close, and you stated BOSS did not recognize only a small number of mods and you manually sorted those. so load order should be pretty good.

Try disabling CM Partners. My install had absolutely no end of stability issues when I was using it. I later switched to MCS and had a much, much better time of it.

However, the one they need to dump even more is TSS:

TSS is a quick way to fuck up a game beyond recovery.

Should the esm. be deleted also? I've been using it and thought I had both the esp.s deactivated but it turns out I had TSS activated . I've just turned it off and rebuilt my bashed patch to see how it runs later. I thought I remembered you saying forever ago that the esm. alone was OK.  Am I right ?

Yea, the esm is fine.  With MCS it really is not needed, but it won't harm anything.  The esm just gives you the ability to swap out stuff with NPC's.  I've never had any crash, bloat or corruption issues with the esm.
