Before I get started, I suggest reading this thread and this post to

help give you a general idea of where this mod is going,

and what I hope to achieve.

Currently, the basics are very much finished.

The race - complete (male AND female)

The worldspace - complete

The appropriate connection to Tamriel - complete

So what's so significant about this race?

Their increased size is but just one part. While their weapons skills are untouched from vanilla,

their hand-to-hand skills are quite powerful. Up 28 points from vanilla, they rival Giants

at later levels. Though I wouldn't recommend taking one on at level one  :P

Although the majority of the tough stuff is done, I still have LOTS to do.

This mod will include a fully functional faction system, complete with merchant

NPCs utilizing the vanilla economy systems. A blacksmith, general goods vendors,

trainers, etc., all created from the very same race as your character.

At this time I'm unsure of how I want to handle the crime and punishment systems. I may

tie them into one of the vanilla crime factions, but I AM tossing around the idea of creating

a standalone crime faction, very much like I did with Mjana's Labyrinth.

As of now it works like this:

Assuming you already have TCRA and RaceCompatibility, you install the base mod for the race.

To utilize the additional worldspace and it's content, you install the module that depends on

the race it's derived from and built specifically for.

Essentially, I'm expanding Skyrim "within itself", by creating passageways to these new outdoor

worldspaces on the outer edges of the map, without actually crossing any borders (which creates

all kinds of new problems). This mod is actually a testbed for something FAR MORE involved  ;)

Once I have the system foundation laid out, I'll know just how far I can push it without breaking anything.

Anyway, that's the gist of it.

I'll post more screens as things progress  :D

Progress!!!

This is Magistar Andromeda....

It's her job to oversee the valley's well being.

She takes her job very seriously. And as you can

likely tell, she's deeply religious:

And here's Captain Delilah:

It's her job to stand guard over the valley's ONLY male occupant, Durnstadt:

His crime?

He was merely the strongest (and only) male warrior

left on the field of battle. As such, he was taken prisoner

to be used as breeding stock. Amazon women are allowed

only to bear children of great strength. Any sign of weakness

or deformity in a newborn female (or if it's male) is followed

by a purging ritual at the Tree of Strength, where the infant

is cast over the edge to it's death:

It's a loooong way down:

At the entrance to the valley, you'll find Guard Astaria

diligently occupying her assigned post, as well as

woodcutter Aella performing her assigned task:

-------------------------------------------------------

I still have a lot to do. Merchants and everday citizens, a bit more wildlife,

the faction system, crime and punishment, etc......

more to come!

What scale did you use for the amazon characters? I think 1.25 was the largest I found would allow an NPC to freely use doors. :-)

Now someone just needs to make animations with characters who aren't both 1:1... :D

This looks interesting and promising. I always had a soft spot for anything amazon-related. I am looking forward

to see more of this, and where it is going!

After browsing through the pictures, may I ask a question?

I noticed some women are wearing fur-leg-wraps that leave the feet bare. I just wondered if those are original

material by you, and so only available once your mod is released. Or if they are from another source? I know of some mods

on Nexus adding legwraps like that, but they are merley "vanilla boots without soles" ... the one in your pics looks much better :)

The fur legwraps are a custom item I put together in NifSkope.

The "shoe" of the fur boots mesh was removed, and the "foot" of the mesh added in it's place. It's the same mesh used by the player/npc bodies. I'll eventually be releasing a bunch of armor meshes as I expand on the next version of TCRA.

Don't worry. I won't make you wait that long  :P

fur boots.rar

Just merge that into your Data folder.

Enjoy!

Hmm, I seem to remember reading that the height of a character increases their weapon damage and movement speed. If that is still true, and they haven't patched it out by now, than this race would be pretty OP.
