Phelps1247 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 That option when picking a male body. Where do I install this? It doesn't take the one installed in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\meshes\characters\_male Though that's the mesh folder and more specifically the textures are entirely f'd. and I thought it would be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\meshes\Sexout but there's nothing there to imply that's where things should be installed.
RitualClarity Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 There is no need to "install" it anywhere yourself. The installer will take care of it for you. Just do as Odessa states and you will have nude male body. Don't worry, it is there when you open your game you will have nude male bodies. If you have installed any male bodies or have manually installed male bodies you will need to remove those from your game. They will overwrite the ones installed by Sexout. In case you are wondering... it is hidden in "plain sight"... When you see it you will kick yourself. Hint: It isn't in any folder....
Phelps1247 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 I used FOMM...that's the problem. I dislike FOMods because I don't know where things are going. Regardless, the auto installer doesn't have the body I want to use. (Not that I can currently find it. XL, extra large, xtra long...something like that. And it had tattoos.) Even then the ones installed through sexout do not have nude bodies when outside of using a sex animation.
RitualClarity Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 The sexout version don't have the nude bodies outside of sex. However if you are having sex and are nude during that it means that it has been installed correctly. It is a BSA. I thought you would been able to figure that out with my hint already. Now you can find the files that you want from breeze and disassemble them and create a folder that you want to use. This folder can have the Nude male instead of the underwear male included in Sexout. Or you can install Breezes body and select the ones that you want. Breezes body has a tattoo and a cut uncut version. This will change all the males in the game however. I don't know how to change just yours if that is what you want. The files added to the game will overwrite in game the BSA. However you don't need all of them and any not changed out should change when playing. Hence the nude erect should change when having sex. However keep in mind that eventually you would wantto change all them or the body will vastly change between the nude and sex body. Lots of work and lots of understanding what you are doing. Keep using FOMM to install or you will create problems for you self installing and uninstalling the mods.
Phelps1247 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Yes that's problem, not outside of sex. It wasn't a breeze body though you're saying I make a new folder that has a body for non-sexout nudity? Because like you said the default folder doesn't work. I usually don't bother installing mods when they're bsa's (for exactly this reason) so I wouldn't have thought of that. I was expecting the option to create a folder for use. I think I found the body, it does use breeze textures but is not an offical breeze body.
RitualClarity Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 BSA are used to package up the textures, meshes and such. In this case BSA are used because any files you install (using the same file path) would overwrite any files in the BSA automatically. You shouldn't have to make a new folder. You should be able to install the "official, Breezes" body from the Nexus and select the various options you want. I do. It overwrites the files of the BSA and gives me the body selection I want for that play through. If I want harry, cut, uncut, nude (outside of sex) or any other option that isn't part of the Sexout - Breezes BSA. If you are willing to dig and understand the folder structures (extract the sexout BSA) you can then copy paste, (and overwrite) the files you desire into the BSA and use FOMM to repackage them. (for neat folder and better general performance) using the same name as before. Then anything you install later would overwrite this "base" body so if you decided to play with a particular tattoo or such you can and then uninstall it later and still keep the "base" body intact. Super Easy Fix; Use the Sexout Body of choice. Easy Fix: Load the body of choice, Be it Roberts, or Breezes from Nexus or whereever. Make sure it has the nude option. Allow it to overwrite the Sexout body or don't even install the sexout body (Install your own body choice) Hard Fix: Extract the folder which closest has the body of choice (roberts or breezes) and then gather up the files that you want following the naming structure and past them over to the folder and either zip that folder up or create a BSA for installation. Keep in mind if you mix and match the bodies seam issues and skin issues might occur between the neck and wrist. The choice is yours. The creation of this folder if you choose this option you will likely be on your own and will have to figure out how to fix most of the issues you have. It depends on your time (if you want to really fool around with these bodies and such for a great amount of time) or if you want to play the game. The choice is up to you.
Phelps1247 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 I'm TRYING to do the easy fix. I don't know where sexout is getting the body from so I don't know where to put it. I choose this option when the mod is activated: That's the one to not install any sexout body and install my own. Regular body that's installed looks like this (perfectly fine): Once a sex animation starts it looks like this with entirely the wrong textures and entirely the wrong mesh: So obviously sexout isn't pulling the files from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\meshes\characters\_male C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\textures\characters\male where the normal, non-sex animation body items are contained. Using a bsa unpacker on the Sexout - Breezes.bsa... C:\Users\name\Desktop\BSA Unpacker-4804-1-0\BSA Unpacker\breeze\meshes\characters\_male C:\Users\name\Desktop\BSA Unpacker-4804-1-0\BSA Unpacker\breeze\textures\characters\male ...makes it look like where that is where it's getting it but obviously not as it fails in every aspect once the animation starts. Even remaking Sexout - Breezes.bsa with that mesh in place of the default one and reactivating the sexout data fomod has the same result.
prideslayer Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Sexout uses a nude body suit during sex, not the default nude mesh and texture. You'll have to replace those files in the BSA as well. You can look in the ESM to find the names, the item is an armor called simply SexoutNude, and it's only used for males.
Phelps1247 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Actually messing with the bsa wasn't needed at all. Simple matter of replacing the file here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\meshes\armor\sexoutbodysuits with the same one being used normally renamed as outfitmerect.nif.
