Slorm Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I'm running around 50 mods atm mostly from LL and Nexus, and have been using NMM as an installer. I have noticed that NMM doesn't always uninstall cleanly (for example uninstalling fnis and any mods that use it seems to make Skyrim instantly CTD at startup). So my question is does Wrye Bash handle installs and uninstalls better and will it work okay if I still use NMM to download mods from Nexus and keep track of updates?
CGi Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Yep. The roll-back function from Wrye is almost flawless, but Mod Organizer is even better.
Slorm Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Yep. The roll-back function from Wrye is almost flawless, but Mod Organizer is even better. Brilliant, thanks for that, I'm just doing a clean reinstall now so I'll try it out
gvman3670 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 You're going to LOVE Mod Organizer. If not then you're crazy! It does come with a slight learning curve, though. So take a little time to learn to use it and you'll be happy you switched. There is also a MO thread here in Non-Adult mods subforum.
