Followers aren't fighting?

Is there a reason why my followers just watch me fight.  They just laze around with unsheathed weapons.  I'm guessing this is because of script lag?  Or could some mods be affecting it?

Without a load order your not going to get much help as no one has a clue as to what you have installed in your game. It could be caused by a mod it could be caused by mods conflicting it could be a load order issue. Have you recently added any mods to your list if you have added anything new have you tried turning them off to see if one of them is causing it? Have you tried going back to a older save to see if it might be something in your current save that is corrupted?

I thought it would be something script heavy, so I went and turned off Frostfall/RND/Deadly Mutilation/GetSnowy and some other script intensive mods and then they started fighting again.  (Also I have no clue how to get a load order from MO)

You could run BOSS then copy and paste the mod list from there.
