Radioactive Wolves Of Chernobyl

The radioactive trees from the forest near Chernobyl are a much more dangerous thing, if one were to set fire to them, the end result would be radioactive cloud released from the ash & would lay waste to all Europe. The aftermath of the accident from '86 pales in comparison to such a scenario, that's one of the reasons the Ukrainian military still guards the perimeter with sensors & apcs.

Because it's logic sense. Contamination. Chernobyl is off limits and only certain specialists/scientists are permitted within the resitricted area. Human can no longer live in Pripyat, yet animals have come to withstand the levels of radiation and survive. Genetics DNA is wonders of evolution. All the trees were destroyed, yet new vegitation has grown, and these vegatation carry radiation in them. Everything is contaminated. These very same wolves. Nature sure has a way to never say NO to man's destructive technology. You can mow your lawn. You can cut a tree down and nature will do what it does best. Destroy concrete, Destroy roads. Destroy bridges. And even destroy mankind. Ever wonder if nature is trying to give us a hint with all these hurricans and tornatos and earthquakes? We humans sure know how to mistreat the land we live on.

No doubt. Near here there are the remnants of an old coal mining and logging town that is absolutely gone, reclaimed by nature. In the mid-1800s it was a big and thriving community with about 20000 people living there. Here and there in the forest you can find stacked stones that were once the corners of house foundations, but in the middle of where there was once a house there are now cherry, maple and oak trees, some of them more than a meter in diameter.

I've scavanged around there with a metal detector and found some cool old artifacts that were almost 150 years old. Mostly junk metal bits, but have found cast iron cookware, old style clothes irons and even a few old coins.
