Has anyone replicated, or even ported, any Fallout power armor (or even special armors) across to Skyrim Oblivion? I'd very much like to use one of the various Doctor Who mods to play a character who hops between Bethesda games, and stomping around Skyrim Cyrodiil in power armor sounds fun.
Brigade Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Oblivion skeleton has more bones than the fallout skeleton. There is a skeleton for fallout 3 that is semi compatible with oblivion armors, but not the other way around. Would also fuck around with mods requiring coronerra's, which has even more bones than vanilla oblivion. Unless you feel like re-rigging armor for a very long time. Regular fallout armors wouldn't be an issue. They're made of things like leather, rubber, and polymer that can bend any which way. You'll notice that the character's torso in fallout 3 is rigid, while in oblivion your character has the magical ability to warp iron and steel armor as their bodies twist around? It works (somewhat) with vanilla armors because they're pretty, and aren't particularly thick. Power armor from fallout 3 does not share this trait. If it's anything other than rigid, it looks horrible. There's no way to make armor rigid in oblivion.

Dammit!...it was just working when I posted it XD Here is another, if that doesn't work, I'll look into my 4shared account, I know I have it there, just under some random name I don't remember.
