What's happening with this follower's body?

Hi, guys. Not sure if this is the right place to post this or if it should be in Technical Support but since it's a Non Adult Mod, I thought I'd start here.

 

I installed the Silmeria follower mod from Skyrim Mod Type and she doesn't quite look like the pictures on that site. Her breasts are enormous and I noticed she has something weird happening around her hips.

The last time I saw this sort of thing was when I tried to get CHSBC body to play nice with XP32 skeleton, Dual Sheath Redux and CBBE on my follower.

 

Currently I'm using the XP32 Maximum Extended Skeleton with hdt physics enabled and CBBE. I'm guessing this follower was created with a UNP body and she's being warped somehow with the skeleton I'm using?

Her initial body is UNP.  You overwrote that with a CBBE based on but didn't overwrite her body textures as well.  Just copy your CBBE textures in her mod and overwrite hers and it'll be fixed.

I think I understand what happened here... I think I used NMM to install her and I don't think it copied over all her data. I should have done a manual install instead.

Those clips are usually body-texture incompatibility, it happens all the time with CBBEbody-UNPtextures and vice versa.  Just make sure you're using compatible body-textures and it should go away.

 

Wait, does that happen when naked or just with the armor on?  If it's only with the armor, it's the armor textures that are incompatible.  To fix that, you either need to install a body that's compatible with the armor you're wearing or convert the armor to your own bodytype.

I guess the problem here is that you are using an armor not compatible with the follower bodytype. Naked looks good?

Yeah, if it's OK while naked then the armor is for the wrong body type. If the texture's whacked while naked, too, then you need to put an appropriate texture into the follower's folder.

it is quite simple.
if this companion in the "original" the "UNP body" had and you want to convert it to CBBE! then you need to replace the meshes \ texture.
here is the path of the companions:

 

data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ name of the companion \ there you exchanged femalebody_0 and 1.nif, the same with hands and feet

data \ textures \ actors \ charakter \ name of the companion \ there you add a body for all matching. dds files.

 

that's it.

I'll try a different set of armor on her. I used something from BAMM and I think it was ++.

 

She looks great when she's naked except for the breasts are pretty big. I'm guessing this is being caused by the hdt physics and CBBE?

the body in the companion mod is not CBBE!
it is recognizable by the navel, CBBE has an elongated.
UNP \ UNPB and 7B have a round navel, so it's one of those body!
ergo not compatible with CBBE armor.

i think just the body mesh bundled with her has large "torpedo" breasts and i ended up replacing her body in my game.

 

as suggested above, replace her 2 body meshes in folder (assuming it's same version of silmeria i have)

Data\Meshes\c35girl\

femalebody_0.nif

femalebody_1.nif

with your preferred unp/unpb body.

If I install that mod, is it going to overwrite the files from BAMM for that armor?

 

that is correct, these arms there body for all. you only need to copy the meshes, textures are available for all types the same.
