Jexsam Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Kinda feels like it, but honestly it doesn't bother me. Now that plot is really building up, it doesn't feel like it's dragging even with sex growing a little more infrequent. Â I only wish Auril'd dial back the goddamn futa a notch or two and stop teasing with horses we don't get to have scenes with.
NoxTM Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Hope there will be a torrent soon.. Not enough time to spend 6 Hours downloading it.. :/
Emily Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 What blizzard says about this on their official side?
LordJerle Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 What blizzard says about this on their official side? Â Pretty sure there's nothing they can say... She's not technically selling it, she's using her own custom 3D models, and technically it qualifies under fair use copyright laws as parody.
Emily Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 agreed, that fair enough. It reminds of Dota.2 copyright issues between Valve and blizzard.
Dracogena Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Dear friends. As I understand we are all here proud supporters of Bethesda titles so we all bough at least one of their games. We do not deal and help with pirated copies. So why it is ok to giving big company money, but we don't want to support small ones (like Auril). They make this great stuff for free and we can only repay them with traffic on fileshare (which give them tips). Â So in my eyes torrenting a Whorecraft is same as pirating Skyrim. Â Hope some of you will understand what I'm trying to say here. Â Thanks.

ObrinMRtel Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Bethesda is different... I have respect for people's creations but what she does is not fare, using other people's work to get money is not fair and illegal. Â Anyway are there any torrents people I am stuck with part 4 for over 2 hours....

There has to be proof that the game in question is actually being sold. Crowdfunding and donations don't count towards the requirements for needing a $99 license. UDK
LordJerle Posted November 6, 2013 Author Posted November 6, 2013 Unrestricted download speeds count as a backer reward, which do count towards the requirements.
Endiness Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 You're defining the donations as "Kickstarter's backing the game" as there are different links for ? I think I get it though. I do agree donations shouldn't offer anything even if it's a mediafire link vs. another link. Simply solution would be to remove such an offer. I hope I didn't already make a post similar to this before. Â

shrraga Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Â Dear friends. As I understand we are all here proud supporters of Bethesda titles so we all bough at least one of their games. Â Â From the faq: Is UDK really free for me to use?Absolutely. Download UDK, create your project and distribute it completely free of cost. Â She isn't selling the games she makes, making profit from advertising is not a sale on a game made with UDK, she would only owe them money if she was selling the games directly (or charging for access to them) and if she made more then $50,000 off the game. I highly doubt the combined money from all her donors who are beta testers exceeds $50,000 (and, still, a donation is not a sale, and in this case can't really be construed as a sale because non-donors do gain access to the games a month or two later).
Degeneracy Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 @shrraga  The problem is the people who pay or I mean 'donate' get direct downloads. That benefit is what separates the free distribution and charging to download it. Unsure if you have tried downloading the game, but the sources she offers 'free' users to download from is low end dsl speed at best. Downloading a game from that is unbearable, one disconnect, one error, and you have to dl that portion of the game.  From the Faq  Q: Can Kickstarter or other crowd funding be used to fund games made with UDK? Is a license required? A: Yes, crowd funding is perfectly acceptable with UDK games; however, a $99 commercial UDK license is required and all revenue earned through the crowd funding is subject to the standard UDK royalty.  Crowd Funding: 1. the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.  In the end as said before she has not paid the License fee, hence why we don't appreciate how she is handling the game. Also it has been stated in one of her earlier releases that if she doesn't receive an X amount of DL's for her game through her site, she would not release the next episode. Source
shrraga Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The slow download wasn't a big problem for me, I have 5 virtual machines and a $30/ year VPN that allows me to download via 6 different IPs (so, about 240 kb/s total between the 6 connections, which just about maxed out my internet connection [damn you fairpoint and your $50/ month 3mb DSL]) Â Â
ObrinMRtel Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Ok people I downloaded from her link but I wont speak about that now...  I have a problem that I cant seem to fix, I run the game and hit new game... then there is a loading screen and after some time I get an error Ran out of Video memory... now the previous episodes worked just fine, on one of them I had this same problem but I managed to fix it by reducing the resolution or the Settings in the INI file, I tried all that and it just happens again.  So i looked up online and oh the official forum and saw that maybe I need Visual ++ and NetFramework to be up to date so i updated them, and the problem is still there...   So If you can help please do so

ObrinMRtel Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Nah its an AMD/ATI Radeon card, drivers are up to date... I will try something... thanks
LordJerle Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 Well, considering it's ATI, you'll have to look around for third party fixes then :-P
Misplaced Reality Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Russians, violating a registered trademark, to take money by selling sex. How typical. I guess the Vodka hit them hard.
