manarak Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I have switched from NMM to mod organiser. and can't get it to work correctly :-( tried installing SKSE though MO, but the SKY UI complained about not seeing SKSE. Installed SKSE manually into the skyrim folder, then SKY UI installed ok. I installed FNIS, which seemed to work at first, but then no animations were playing for sexlab. Then installed FNIS manually as I did for SKSE, and I was able to play animations. Then I tried CBBE and bodyslide 2. Somehow the bodies don't get generated correctly, and I can't save my presets anywhere? always get a message "there are no other files" huh? In Schlongs of Skyrim, all cocks are bent to the right?? Some mods don't seem to work - for example random sex. Remodeled armors don't show and aren't remodeled by bodyslide 2 Hentai pregnancy - no belly. :-( Is there an instruction somewhere about how to get MO to work with these mods? I read several instructions, including the STEP one, the advanced one, etc. and while it seems clear whe reading and following the steps, the issues with the mods remain and I have no idea how to make it work. Help please?
RitualClarity Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 There is already a thread here for this http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20492-mod-organizer/ There are people there that use it daily for Skyrim.

I know! that's what makes it so frustrating Thank you for the link, I will post my questions there.
Guest Grestorn Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 You cannot install SKSE through MO! That's one of the very few things you have to install directly into Skyrim.
RitualClarity Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 SKSE needs Manual instal as mentioned. Any thing that cannot be installed in the Data folder (has to be installed in the main game folder) must be installed manually. No exceptions. FNIS is loaded by AwfulArchdemon which created the thread for MO here it the way posted in #601 of the thread http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20492-mod-organizer/page-31 A little extra work but he seems to think it is the way to do it. I have installed it all manually, all using MO and probably every other way. So long as it is in proper area, shown to MO (clicked or manually installed) it should work provided you run it each time you change any mods with animations. ON the same post he states he will be back from school Thursday afternoon. which means you are in luck as he should be here shortly. I'd help more but I have limited experience with MO and even more limited experience with Skyrim mods than many on that thread.
Rabblerouser Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I won't give you bullshit about MO. It's not perfect, but with just about every problem, there's a workaround! And it's being developed actively, so that's a bonus. SKSE should be installed without a mod manager regardless. The SKYUI installer will complain it can't see SKSE, install anyway. It'll be fine. It's just the installer along can't see outside of its little bubble. When the game is run, SkyUI will be able to communicate with it. It's just the custom installer was made to work with a non-"bubble" environment. FNIS, generally, I install that within the data directory without MO. IMPORTANT: Go into Mod Organizers "data" tab and navigate into the tools folder where FNIS is, then rightclick the generator and click "Add as Executable". Anytime in the future you need to run FNIS, run it from Mod Organizer's drop-down menu. This method, though possibly a bit dirty, has worked for me for ages. Note: Running FNIS will put stuff into your Overwrite. You really shouldn't have to touch this unless you use more than one profile. If you don't know what that means, you probably have nothing to worry about your Overwrite. No idea about the Schlong issue. I can't really tell you much about bodyslide since I don't use CBBE or Bodyslide, UNP generally is more my taste. Hopefully others can help with the Schlong and bodyslide stuff, but my guess is ADD Bodyslide to MO's dropdown "Run" list like I suggested with FNIS. Of course take someone else's suggestion that actually uses MO along with Bodyslide as I don't really use it. MO can be a pain sometimes, but you'll be thanking yourself not having to reinstall your Skyrim every time something goes awry.
manarak Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 thank you for all the help I finally got it working
