Rayblue Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 There's Puppeteer Master: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10870/?
Guest NeonFirefly Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Wow, I gotta try that Puppeteer Master mod! I've been looking for an alternative to Pinup Poser as well; it's so extensive and brilliantly implemented, but it SERIOUSLY f*cks up my game's stability.
Riex Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Unfortunately puppeteer master is not nearly as comprehensive or as powerful as Pinup. I just disable it when i want to play the game and re-enable when I want to actually use it. It's a pain but not a lot you can do about it.
Spyder Arachnid Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I never understood all the crashing and instability that people have with Pinup Poser. I've never had any issues while using it. Maybe I'm just lucky?
Mebrilia Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 i have no idea honestly i deactivated it and i don't crash on save load no more... not sure why
Rayblue Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 For any installation of Pinup Poser, I always have to run FNIS after installing the mod.

Benmc20 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 There's Puppeteer Master: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10870/? I'll try this too. Thanks.
Benmc20 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 i have no idea honestly i deactivated it and i don't crash on save load no more... not sure why I'm pretty sure that this is Pinup posers (FNIS was run after install of course) who causes crashs and the strict impossibility to start a new game.
Guest Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I've always had problems with PP regardless of what other mods I've had installed (could be a common link though, maybe PCEA or something). Not with loading saves or anything (that I know of anyway), but after I've used it for a while it will start to mess with my camera controls, prevent me from being able to go into 1st person, it disables my scroll zoom, I can no longer equip things in hand or cast anything. I've also had it freeze my toon in one spot, and if you happen to save it at that point it's frozen forever. It's pretty much essential but it does cause issues and I usually have to go to desktop and reload to get things working again.

As far as I can remember using PP while in tfc often screws up your zoom and 1st person too.
Rayblue Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 1. Pose first 2. Use tfc. Thought of using PCEA once, but as it looked terribly complicated to install (and possibly run into trouble), I used Ishara's Custom Player Body instead.

I've always had PCEA in my load order but more out of force of habit than real necessity. I guess it's convenient once it's up and running. I keep hearing it's a sod for screwing with things but can't say it's ever given me any grief.

I use PCEA too, it did have problems with some mods, the one i use was posted long ago so it would work with sexlab and havn't changed it or had problems with it since. Had read somewhere that PCEA does cause problems with PP, and i had chosen PCEA over PP. What i did instead is use FNIS spells, selected poses i like from the catalog then renamed them to match the FNIS spells so it uses c1,c2, etc. You could try that as an alternative to PP.
