The Lodger 1.0.9

One adult takes a room in the house you play. They do not join the household. They do not pay rent. The room is theirs.

They clean, they answer the door, and they do the ordinary care for a baby, an infant, a toddler, or a child: a bottle, a diaper, play. That care is never a sex interaction. Teens stay out of the care and out of the room.

Who can take the room
Young adult, adult, and elder humans only.
Teens, children, infants, babies, pets, and relatives stay out.
If the relationship cannot be read, the room stays closed.
Someone who already lives in the house cannot take a room.
Up to four lodgers. One lodger belongs to one household adult. That adult can have more than one.

The room
Click a bed and choose This bed is theirs. Until you do, the notice says to pick a bed.
Two days a week are off. You pick the pair. The default is Saturday and Sunday.
On a day off they leave and rest. The agreement stays. They come back the next work day.
Come here on a day off says it is their day off and does not start the scene.
On a work day, a visitor goodbye does not walk them off the house.

While the room is theirs, hunger, bladder, energy, hygiene, fun, social, and thirst stay full. Two moods change through the day. The body is set to the middle once, and the shape follows. End the stay lets the bars move again.

On the home lot they clear a puddle and set a dirty object clean. A broken toilet, door, or stair is repaired in place and is never replaced. Other broken objects are repaired, or replaced once with a working copy. Community lots are left alone.

Come here
Offer the room is on the Sim and in the relationship panel. The Sim does not have to be standing on the lot.
The adult who was given the room uses Come here. It is free, and they do not refuse it. Autonomy does not press that row.
Another adult in the house uses Pay the extra.
The price starts at §800. At romance 50 it is §450. At 100 it is §100. It does not go under §80.
If the score cannot be read, the price stays §800.
A short wallet does not start the scene and does not change the agreement.
Come here from off the lot calls them over. The scene starts once they are here. The extra is not taken until then.

They do not keep a jealous or caught-cheating moodlet while two or more lodgers are on the lot. One lodger can still be jealous of someone outside that group.

They pack up if that Sim makes an enemy of them, if friendship falls to -10, or if it drops 40 from the day they took the room. End the stay sends them off without that.

Requirements
The Sims 4. Checked on 1.128.90.1030.
Script mods on.
WickedWhims, already installed. It is not in this zip. Do not put it inside this folder.
18+. Adult Sims only.

Install

1. Quit The Sims 4.
2. Unzip The_Lodger_1.0.9.zip.
3. Copy the folder BlackBox_TheLodger into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
4. The script sits directly inside that folder. One folder deep. There is no package.
5. WickedWhims stays beside it.
6. Delete localthumbcache.package if it is there.
7. Load a lot. After testingcheats true, run bb.lodger.status. It should print The Lodger v1.0.9.
   

Leave lodger.json alone. The game writes it. It is not in the download.

bb.lodger.bed uses the object you have selected. bb.lodger.off hides the rows and stops the clock. They remain in the save until you turn it on or clear them. bb.lodger.clear sends every lodger off and forgets the rooms.
