TacticalDaniel Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 yep nvse is installed now and it works but still no mod config in game and still no animations for sex. this is what i have in fallout mod manager
zippy57 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Am I typing too small or something? Now please follow the text instructions. Verify your Steam cache.
TacticalDaniel Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 I DID THAT A LONG TIME AGO!!!
zippy57 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Then you should have mentioned that at some point instead of completely ignoring someone that is trying to help you.
TacticalDaniel Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 sorry. now everything is working but the mod menu and when i reactivate the mod menu it sais the NVSE is installed correctly and ready to use. so idk
nyaalich Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 So on this page, you got the Main File. Did you also get the Update file? Since it's an esp by itself, you'll have to manually copy it to your Fallout NV Data folder. If you have the German No Gore version, there's a dll for it. I cannot speak to it besides pointing out its existence. EDIT: And when you're talking about the "mod menu," I'm assuming that you're talking about the "Mod Configuration" option that displays above the "Continue" option on the screen that shows when you hit Esc, yes?
TacticalDaniel Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 yes and it doesnt show up above the continue option when i hit esc. i just added the file and its still not working
nyaalich Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Which file? The Update esp or the No Gore dll?
nyaalich Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Copied/pasted into your Data folder (in a structure like this: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data) such that you got an overwrite the file? prompt and have relaunched the game since doing that?
TacticalDaniel Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 yes. and idk if this helps or any but iinstalled a bunker mod and that works but when i start up the game isnt it supposed to tell me that the mod is added and everything? becuase if it was supposed to it didnt
zippy57 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Start the game and enter "GetNVSEVersion" into the console. What value does it return?
TacticalDaniel Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 it sais it cant find the command.
ChancellorKremlin Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 You know, it will sound like a parrot repeating myself here, but I really don't think you've installed NVSE properly. If MCM won't show up and that command doesn't work, it does seem to indicate that. Are you absolutely positively sure you've installed NVSE into the right place? Check that there isn't a data folder inside your data folder with it inside. It happens relatively commonly around here.
TacticalDaniel Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Ok the first picture is my fallout new vegas directory and thats where the NVSE loader and the .dll files are the second picture is inside my data folder. and in the second picture the folder does say NVSE and i open it and it sais plugins and there is dll files in there. should that be there?
zippy57 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Your NVSE installation is incomplete. Re-download the archive.
zippy57 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Try to run the game and see if the issue persists.
TacticalDaniel Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 wait so i downloaded the NVSE from the webiste again and now what do i do ?
TacticalDaniel Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 nvm i fixed it. it now works i just reinstalled on steam and placed it into a different directory and now it works thank u guys for your help
