Matt44 Posted Friday at 08:00 AM Posted Friday at 08:00 AM I want to make a tattoo overlay texture for a cbbe body that wraps around the shoulder and arms. I'm not sure how to get around the edges of the UV mapping without having it be warped or have seams. Is there a tutorial or program that is recommended with this process?
Gyna-Kolajist Posted Friday at 08:25 AM Posted Friday at 08:25 AM (edited) CBBE body type has a variety of shapes. if you are creating an overlay not specific for the body type, the graphic will overlap or stretch as I assume you are aware. I have been altering tats for most of the Bethesda games. Here is a really informative Nexus entry. This is one of a few I have used to understand why that "seam" issue happens. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/videos/498 Go to about 15:00 minutes in the video I hope this is what you are asking about. That's exactly what I'm looking for, is there any free alternative to mudbox though because I'm not planning to use it enough to justify getting a subscription. Edited yesterday at 02:25 AM by Matt44
Gyna-Kolajist Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I am not aware of any, My take, I have a garbage google email I use for creating accounts. If it's just a "crapolla" account i really am not invested in, I use the same login and password. I also use a specific browser ONLY for the purpose of logging into these garbage account. I use firefox for all the garbage accounts and save the login/password for that site.
