And as Nevada said, all it takes is for some idiot to post inappropriate images (paedophilia or something else that’s banned) and for the moderators or the Internet Police to spot it, and BAM!

Many social media platforms doo this; they go willy nilly and allow a lot of censorship, which leads to cp scum, which in term gets them in trouble with the law. Then they go kid friendly to make themselves look good. Tumblr went through the same issue, literally. Deviant art as well. It's pretty much thhe deatth of thheir platform.

Well I'm sure they let them, that's what the platform was used for. But when cops get them, this happens.

If you think about it, its not that easy to mass surveillance image hosting sites, when people come and go as they please. Then of course once they do find cp, what do they do? Do they call the cops? That exposes them as being snitches.

That's what Imgur turned into, a legit pussy honestly, that won't even allow me to post feet pics, lmao, now feet are as explicit as dicks. come on!

 

The paradox, is that once these sites do over moderate their site, and everybody leaves, it actually opens them up to more bad actors and cp posts, because the site is dead and doesn't have the security backing anymore to regulate; that's what tumblr basically has become, a hotspot for this. Instagram is too now that I think about it. All these sites once allowed good freedom, now over moderates itself to death.
