On my AE 1.11.221 setup, installing it caused an infinite loading issue at the main menu: the animation and music played normally, but the menu options never appeared. Disabling the mod and verifying the game files did not fix it, and I eventually had to delete the entire game folder and redownload Fallout 4, so take your own risk if you decide to use it. I also could not find a reliable console method to teleport a dead NPC and permanently preserve that specific corpse. Since this mod requires the NPC to be inside an interior cell, its practical use seems quite limited—possibly mainly to dead NPCs already located inside indoor dungeons I guess? That's too bad, this is my favorite way to get bodies into a private cell. Maybe there is another mod that does something similar?
Oohtre Posted July 17 Author Posted July 17 One of the main features I'd like to add is some way to simplify positioning the corpse. Using E is a real pain and can take a while to get the position right. Skyrim had mods that made this much simpler, but I haven't been able to find anything like this for FO4, and haven't had much luck with this in code. BTW please message me with feature requests. I am planning on working on a female player version at some point, and remove the female target. I was being thematic to how I wanted to play when I built in this restriction, but I want to open this up to other play styles. Also I am working on a new mod that attempts to simulate being a serial killer (like our good friend Pickman), I think it can very complimentary to Necromantic.
Oohtre Posted July 17 Author Posted July 17 (edited) Oh and some of the limitations right now I have been treating like features, like having to be in a private cell means I need to plan on getting the corpse back to my "dungeon." I've been using the power armor for this, which I normally don't use on my character. Or stopping midway through clearing a building to satisfy the building craving and get my stats back to normal. I have even started looking for interior instances when this craving meter gets too high. And even the issues with posing the body seems thematic in a way, versus something automatic or artificaial. Still that can be a pain as I noted above. Edited July 17 by Oohtre

DrewbusVlt111 Posted Sunday at 12:38 AM Posted Sunday at 12:38 AM what would cause it to say no corpse, clearly a corpse

Let me see if I can create a quick patch for that. I don't have any slaves on this play through yet so unsure if that will slow me down. So much misanthrope and so little time.
Oohtre Posted Sunday at 01:16 AM Author Posted Sunday at 01:16 AM Also if there are animation packs you'd like me to support let me know and I will work on adding them when I have time.
wj3412 Posted Sunday at 05:15 PM Posted Sunday at 05:15 PM Is that possible that a female character could run the scene to a dead male corpse?

It's on the roadmap, though I am unsure I will tackle that before adding more animations. Currently I am working on another mod that integrates with Necromantic amd adds a lot flavor to it.
quietbitch Posted Monday at 02:02 AM Posted Monday at 02:02 AM you can eat corpses, so why not fuck them lol 1
Oohtre Posted Monday at 07:07 AM Author Posted Monday at 07:07 AM I am working on my second mod. Serial killer minigame. One feature I am working on is dynamic looking corpse decay for certain NPCs killed by the player. I have as a TODO to build out the decals for the head so that hopefully will look even better. Beatiful isn't she? I am planning a misantrhopic trillogy, so if all goes to plan I'll build a third mod later that is complimentary to these two. Assumming I don't burn out first. 1

I’d like to ask: does the game still treat a corpse as a "character"? What I mean is, if you simply lack the 2 person animation assets for living character and others that look "dead," I can help with that. I’ve created animations specifically for the AAF scene in SH where a "malicious fan" causes you to lose consciousness after drinking something. It’s just that the creator of SH never appeared again How come you didn't tell me? 🙂

That was so long ago—it seems like it was before "Pervert" appeared. Anyway, it doesn't look like this mod intends to use actual skeletal animation for the corpses, so just be it. 1
