Games with sex that actually has an impact on the gameplay?

Hey! Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm curious on what games you guys might know that have actually interesting sex mechanics/gameplay? To be a biiit less vague, I mean like Rimworld where with mods it becomes an actual part of the gameplay that you have to manage and has an impact on the game itself. Or like the (eventually going to exist) Casualties Unknown sex mod that'll be probably have a pretty big impact on surviving in game and managing mood. I'm struggling to think of any more interesting examples off the top of more off the top of my head, but basically anything with interesting gameplay should count, lmao. Or games with good gameplay and sex mods that integrate into that well? Taking any suggestions! (Bonus points for M/M support/content).

I wish I had more like the ones you're talking about. There's Corruption of Champions and its associated games where sex can be relevant to combat and you have a lust bar that's kind of like a health bar. Might be similar enough to what you're talking about.

Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Skyrim . . .

Yeah - most modders don't think about making the sexy stuff a meaningful (and balanced) part of the gameplay loop, unfortunately. There are sex games, which tend to be shorter or more shallow for obvious funding reasons. You could google for a free version of Sin Spire, or various fighting games that have sex on defeat, or one of the "Princess Trainer" style games, and so on.

That said...

CK3 has mods that add visual sex to your conjugal (or recreational) visits to produce an heir. There are also mods that let you enslave, train sex slaves, and sell said slaves, and maybe one or two other mechanics that actually tie into the wider game. Seduction can create useful allies, after all, and now they're graphic.

Stellaris has mods that add sex to the game in a very integral way, like profits, builds, and population growth. Most of these mods are visually less satisfying, though, often being restricted to the mechanics and maybe some hentai style imagery. CK3 has, at least, some modders (two off the top of my head) that went to the trouble of adding animations.

Fallout has mods that let you add sex workers to your settlements.

Both Skyrim and Fallout have "Defeat" style mods that add sex as an alternative to death after combat, both for player and/or for enemies, as well as slavery mods that can turn into profit.

Skyrim has a wealth of every kind of mod, in fact. Besides the aforementioned mods, there's a pregnancy mod where you can impregnate women, and they will birth soul gems for you to use. There's also a mod that lets you define sex effects. You could make this so that every time you fuck a bandit, you get a 30 second rage effect with which to go defeat the next one. Plus more. But then, haven't we all played Skyrim to death already? Maybe not...

That said, the next issue with a lot of these mods is that while they can have a significant impact on the gameplay, they often don't come with necessary drawbacks or tradeoffs. This means game balance tends to get skewed way in the player's favor, unless you're able to somehow find a way to offset it.

"Defeat" mods, for instance, are one of the most common sex-mod types that interface with gameplay. You can find them in Baldur's Gate, Skyrim, Fallout, several of the earlier Bethesda games, and more. However, anything that keeps the player from dying, when they normally would have died, is a *massive* change to make the game easier. In this case, you might be able to increase the game difficulty to somewhat compensate. Still, this isn't exactly a 1:1 exchange, nor does every sex mod have an option to compensate with that's quite as clear as this one.

Would be nice to see more chime in here, as actual gameplay-significant sexy stuff is in short supply.
