Devious Sounds SE 1.4.1

View File

More advanced SE/AE version of Devious Sounds. Adds NPC support. Compatible with Devious Devices NG. Does not require a new game when upgrading from previous version.

Description:

Adds new sound to Devious Devices. Player will occasionally make sounds while wearing certain Devices. Sound volume and frequency (how often will they be played) can be adjusted in Devious Sound MCM. Some Devices have several sound types from which to choose. Audio is taken from various adult-oriented videos and differs is quality. To prevent overlapping sounds won't play during SexLab scenes, while Player is bleeding and in some other cases.

LE Version:

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/21101-devious-sounds-v-12/

Supported Devices:

Gags - gagged moan;

Gasmasks - heavy breathing;

Other Devices - Chain rattle.

Gags are divided into 2 categories - Ball and Ring gags. Ball Gags include balls, pony bits and closed panel gags; Ring gags - rings and open panel gags. Each category can be customized separately in MCM. Additionally, player can select different sounds to be played while PC is aroused.

Cuffs, armbinders, collars and other Devices can make chain rattling sounds while player is walking, sprinting or jumping. Chain rattle can attract enemies.

MCM Settings:

Gag Page:
Idle Settings - Default settings that will be used in normal conditions.

Arousal Settings - When PC is aroused these sound and settings will be used.

Unequipping Sound - A special sound will be played when PC removes her gag.

On Hit Settings - "On hit" sounds are played when PC is wearing a gag and being hit by actors or creatures. Does not play if PC is hit by various whips from ZAZ Animation Pack or Deviously Cursed Loot (got something else in mind for that)

Gasmask Page:

Gasmask Settings - Default settings that will be used in normal conditions.

Enable Exhaustion - Enable/Disable Exhaustion effect. PC will play faster breathing sounds while sprinting or being low on stamina.

Chains Page:

Heavy Bondage, Collar, etc. - Choose which Device types can play chain rattling noises.

      Disable - Disable chain noises for this Device type;

Allow preselected - only Devices hand picked by mod author can make noises. (I've tried to pick Devices that have some visible chains, buckles or moving metallic parts, something that realistically should make noises).

Allow All - All Devices of this type will make noises.

Enable Heavy Chains - Allow chain rattle noise ONLY for Devices with long visible chains. Only a handful Devices have chains like this (mostly created by Heretic).

Follower Page:

Contains individual settings for each Follower.

Other NPCs Page:

Contains setting for NPCs. Devious Sounds will scan nearby humanoid NPCs and allow up to 5 closest to play gag, gasmask and chain sounds when equipped with relevant Devious Devices. You can select a Sounds Type for each vanilla voice type, so that NPCs with different voices would play different gag sounds.

Enable NPCs - turns the feature On/Off.

Scan Range - maximum radius (in game units) to look for NPCs wearing gags and other Devices.

Scan frequency - how often to scan for nearby NPCs, in seconds. Process is handled by a custom SKSE plugin, so performance impact should be minimal.

Allow furniture - allow NPCs to play sounds when they are using bondage furniture from ZazAnimationPack.

Alert Enemies Page:

Detection Range - From how afar can hostile NPCs hear player made noises.

Alert enemies on Gag sounds - Hostile NPC will react on player gag moans.

Alert enemies on Chain sounds - Hostile NPC will react on chain rattle.

Localisation Page:

When an armour piece is being equipped Devious Sounds will check its name to determine whether it could be considered a gag or a gasmask. By default Devious Sounds checks only English names. Selecting a secondary language will allow the mod to check armour in two languages.

I think it would be good if you put this mod into the requirements list

It wasn't supposed to be there. I removed AmazingFollowerTweaks.esp from required files. Please re-download the mod. :)

hmmm isntant crash for me with this mod on

Did you enable 'Devious Sounds.esp' plugin? Instant crash indicates a problem with my SKSE plugin. Could you please install Trainwreck - A Crash Logger, let the crash happen and then upload the latest crash log? Log is located in 'Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\Crashlogs'.

Did you enable the "Devious Sounds.esp" in your mod manager or Vortex? Judging by the error the mod is disabled and SKSE can't find a certain script.

I'm glad it works now. I've initially uploaded incorrect .esp file that caused the game to automatically disable it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It would be nice if the sounds of the gag were triggered by various actions, and not just by randomness.

Oh wow, I've wanted the sounds alert enemies functionality forever!  Thank you for this!

Any thoughts on expanding it to include other devices, like the cowbell plug, plug vibration events that cause you to moan, stiletto boots and slave boots, etc?

Has there been anything added between this and the version from your comment or can I just keep using that?

Thanks for reporting! Log file does show the crash happens when DeviousSoundsUtil.dll is loading. This patch might fix it. Please install it on top of "Devious Sounds 1.4 SE Experimental" and let it overwrite what it wants.

Devious Sounds SE 1.4 - 1.4.1 Patch.7z 5.44 MB · 34 downloads

If crashes will continue, could you also upload a different SKSE log file? It's located in 'My documents \ My Games \ Skyrim.INI \ SKSE \ DeviousSounds.log'. It's a log specifically for this mods SKSE plugin.

Yes, it's the same version from the comments.

Here you go. I also use Phostwood's Skyrim Crash Log Analyzer and that points clearly to the dll.

This patch might help.

Devious Sounds SE 1.4.1 - 1.4.2 Patch.7z

The thing is, I don't really know what's caused the crash. According to the log it happens when the mod is scanning "Casfar the Sunken's" inventory and stumbles upon "Amulet of Mara", which was renamed into Symbol of Mara and turned into a Devious Device by other mod. I've installed that mod and everything seems to be working fine.

I've included several additional safe checks in the patch, maybe it will help. If the crashes continue could you upload the recent crash log like before and also "DeviousSounds.log" located in "Documents\My Games\Skyrim.INI\SKSE\".

Didn't work. I looked this Casfar up in SSEEdit and he is unchanged from how the creator made him.
As far as I remember there isn't anything special about the amulet either. It's an amulet that can't be removed by curtesy of being a DD-device.

What I did see is this line that repeats itself multiple times: "C:\Users\User\Desktop\New folder (3)\DD NG\src\Papyrus.cpp"

This folder, or user, does not exist.

Could you upload "DeviousSounds.log" located in "Documents\My Games\Skyrim.INI\SKSE\"? It could help to determine what item is causing the crash. Seams the mod can't get an ID of a certain armor in Casfars inventory.

C:\Users\User\Desktop\New folder (3)\DD NG\src\Papyrus.cpp - that's just the location this mods SKSE plugin was compiled in. It doesn't matter.

Devious Sounds SE 1.4.1 - 1.4.2.1 Patch.7z

I've changed the way mod checks item ID. It seems the crash is happening when my mod is trying to get an ID of an item added by an .esl (light) plugin - mod that turns Amulet of Mara into a Devious Device is an .esl plugin. Something to do with mods incorrect loading index. Don't know why. We have the same Skyrim version and I don't seem to having this issue.

That seems to work. I loaded the same save 3 times just to be sure, and though I never found the guy to confirm it never crashed as it did before.
