Skyrim NPC replacer

Hi all,

what NPC replacer do you use? I installed "Total Character Makeover" and it looks good. However, they are never-nude models.

What would you recommend?

you'r probably using like a standalone version or something, i'm sure there's a version that uses whatever body you have, i'll look it up

nevermind, you just need to lower your body in the load order, however total makeover is pretty old, i'd look for other mod if i were you

Thank you. I will check if the load order makes a difference.

Edit: No, still wearing pants. I was hoping, someone would give me the name of the mod they use.

Edit 2: solved. The nude body files were not copied. I replaced the nevernude textures with the nude textures. This will do until I find a male body replacer. I use CBBE, but it only replaces the female body.

You need to use body replacer mods, not NPC replacer. NPC replacers seldom do anything about the body (it's usually in some 'standalone' mods which could indeed bundle the nudes for a dedicated NPC, usually the 'follower aka the sex-toy'). Look to CBBE or whatever similar mods there are, there's plenty of choice.

NPC looks replacers are great because (assuming you're using MO2; I assume the same is true of Vortex as well) you can have multiple active and whichever one has highest priority/lowest in your load order will just overwrite the rest. For example, I like Kalililies female replacers, but I like The Ordinary Women more. Therefore I enable both, put TOW lower, and now all the ladies who aren't covered by The Ordinary Women but do have a replacer by Kalililies are upgraded. If there's any duds in The Ordinary Women, I simply go into xEdit, remove that reference, and let the backup handle her. Then, there's Bijin Replacer, Far narrower scope, but also an iconic replacer. Same thing, enable that one, give it even higher priority than the other two, and now the Bijin ladies are in my game, while most other females in the game have also been given an upgrade. You can further stack individual NPC replacers on top of these. It's a rare face replacer that'll cause gameplay issues as far as I've seen. Just keep track of which mod you want to have priority over the rest and enjoy the results.
