I've been searching for a mod for a long time without success that would allow me to open the list of animations for Sexlab with a single key (in a scene already playing), but I could only find the feature I needed in heavy mods (whose functionality I don't need). And so... if you want something done right, do it yourself, right? And... after a day of struggling with variables, data, and scripts, here it is—a simple mod that performs only one function: When you press the "0" key, it opens the list of animations (by tags, which Sexlab already sorts before starting the scene). You can select the desired animation from the list and change the current one right in the scene. That's all it does. The plugin is marked as 'esl' and will not take up a slot in the load order. Requirements: Sexlab - (I tested and use on version - SexLabFrameworkAE_v166b) UIExtensions - to open the menu correctly ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ For more complex controls, the "SexLab Tools" mod still exists. But for those who simply want to choose an animation right then and there, this mod will be useful. belegost Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Nice, I can now dump SexLab Tools, which I only had due that reason. However, would requesting a feature to change the hotkey to something else be too much? I really need that 0 key for something else. Or use a modifier key, like shift+0. I have so many mods with hotkeys I ran out of keyboard.

As far as I know, in new versions of Sexlab, the 0 key switches to the next animation in the list. Sexlab itself doesn't have a menu for opening the animation list. If such a feature existed, I wouldn't have made this mod. And I've combed through everything...

theaddy Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Noice! but have you found a solution of animation list not loading completetly? Like if I register 200 anims the list shows like 80-90 and rest are not loaded or hidden. I have the Animation Loader but don't why complete list doesn't show.

Because the mod only shows animations that were sorted by Sexlab(!) before the scene was created. This isn't a bug. If you want to see all your installed animations, use SexlabTool, which lets you select animations by any tag.
ebbluminous Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I do second being able to select a different key or key combo like shift 0. No need for an MCM, maybe an ini or json file that can be editted to reassign. Some mods do that already and also saves that MCM slot for other things

Some mods do that already and also saves that MCM slot for other things I might do this later, but honestly, I created this mod for myself and decided to share it with the community. Personally, I only use the 0 key for sexlab (plus, it's already assigned to animations in the mod itself). And as I mentioned above, the key only becomes active when a sex scene is playing. Anyone who needs more can use an alternative to this mod or create their own. I needed one feature, so I created it.

Because I'm too lazy to press a modifier key, then search for a tag, get all the animations for it (including furniture ones), and then sort through hundreds of animations. 1

But why keep a mod you use only for one function in your load order? I created this to get rid of the Defeat mod. Now I can use the functionality I need with any combat sex mod.

Because I use Defeat mainly for its other functions, like... you guessed it, combat defeat. I have 0 bound to its surrender functionality and I don't use animation functionality since it's at best wonky. And trust me, when I say I had no other key left to bind. That's why I also have SL Tools, which I was hoping to get rid of in favour of this one, since I don't need the whole custom animation queueing. But 0 is just not gonna cut it. I'd have to completely rebind 2 dozen other mods, hotkeys for which I've had set up for so long, it's a muscle memory at this point. And just so we're clear: I'm not trying to coerce you to do things my way by telling this story. I'm merely explaining why I asked for it in the first place. You do whatever you feel like doing. In the settings, you can enable both animation changes and the requirement for the actor to orgasm for completion. And if you turn off scene timing in SexLab, you'll get roughly what you need. 1

Here, the functionality is simplified to the bare minimum—one click to open the animation list. Personally, I use both mods: My own for simple selection, and Tools for more advanced options.
