scubaka Posted August 10 Posted August 10 Does anybody know how to get FrancisLouis' mod to even work? I of course dont plan on sharing the mod, but was interested in making some videos with the mod. I downloaded the files and uploaded them in the correct folder, and tried the current steam version, downgraded steam, and older versions online but could not get it to work. If anyone else has FrancisLouis' mod and was able to get it to actually work I would appreciate tips. 1

No idea, might be a .pak file so just place iut into a '~pak' folder and if its not working, good luck at trying to get help, heard the modder doesn't update anything or help if its more than a month old so if you do buy it, you might only have it until the game updates. 3

Yeah, I messaged him on Patreon and he said he was too busy and could not help. Fair enough, but when I asked the discord server if anybody could help, my message was deleted. 2

It is stated on his Patreon that it only works for the first outfit and not the later outfits. Have you tried starting a new game? So you paid a modder more than the price of the game, it doesn't work, he won't help you, yet you ask us for help all the while not sharing it with the community you are asking to troubleshoot? 14

Sorry, I just did not want to get in trouble or the thread locked since In the past people were warned about it.

gdfsgdfg Posted August 18 Posted August 18 You probably put the files in the wrong place they are meant to go in MOTORSLICE\MotorSlice\Content\Paks I'm also not sure how you can edit already compiled mods it doesn't seem possible without some private tool. 2

Were you able to get this mod running? Having the same issues here. Installed in correct folder path, but still no good.
