joke aside there still some humble modder out there, like xxsjxx and liquid tofu only lock the mod behind paywall for a certain time

Don't mind paying for mods but you need to show what it is, guarantee it works, be nice, some just don't do that and it makes the community look bad, its kind of sad as it can be really amazing, look at the Fallout or Elder scrolls community who made DLC sized mods for example, all for free, what gets tons of attention and maybe donations so making mods can benefit you a lot if you try XD
