I had to use a CPK manager to replace the assets in the switch file. But that file it's quite hefty. About 4g-5g (so it's unlikely i'll ever post the file itself here). Specially after adding ALL the mods out there. I'm pooped of porting right now, but if you try it out, i'm sure you will manage no problem! I'll edit the initial Post of Ryza 3. I got good news! Check it out here! Now that's great news!!!! 1

Man nothing beats just relaxing and gaming for a while! Let's see... This mod works for Nier Automata The End of Yorha Edition, i tried it with the US version (latest update) and it worked wonders, i had to overclock to avoid crashed tho. Did ya try to blow up? Most of these works after you unlock selfdestruct after the intro! As for instalation, drop the files inside the contents folder in you atmos. Inside the romfs directory of the mod in the "pl" the are many variants for you to pick, if you encounter too many crashes, i recommend not using the 9s mod. That's how i completed a full 100% save from zero. (What a good damn game). Also! Make sure to use the correct ID folder for the game based on the version ya using: 010056B015FE8000 - USA 0100B8E016F76000 - ASIA You can check what version you have in the DBI app on the hbmenu. AS for the overclocking investigate that by yourself, it's a pain to explain. Worth it tho... 2

Müllkaiser Posted June 16 Author Posted June 16 (edited) Hiya papaya! I’ve been gaming a lot lately, trying new games here and there, while also going back to some of the games I previously reviewed. I’ll probably make a small update to the Atelier Sophie 2 review with the working mods, but for now, it’s time for something new: Here goes the next review: Fire Emblem Engage. And yeah, as far as playtime goes, this is the longest review so far. A whopping 64 hours and 22 minutes of gameplay. Honestly, at this point, this is less of a mod review and more of a full game review, because I completed an entire playthrough, Fell Xenologue and all. So yes: expect spoilers. A lot of spoilers. Barely starting, we'll know it the mods are working so yeah. Quick and Easy check, though the Cobalt version under the title card should be a even bigger tell. I do have a lot i want to yap about this game. BUTT, before that, i'll explain a little about the mods used and how to mod this game in the first place, that is: Cobalt! Soooo Cobalt is this nice mod manager for the switch that makes mods a whole lot easier to install and fixes a lot of compatibility issues! I won't bother explaining how to install Cobalt, since it's incredibly fast and easy. A quick google search will fix that for you! On the other hand... i have to be reaaal clear about this: there are tons of mods for this game. TONS! And this modpack will not have much of these. As you might expect from me at this point: i will prioritize nudity above any and all other mods. So i didn't include any mod that affect characters beside the nude mods. These affect ALL the main female cast of characters, and many female enemies as well. There are nude mods and risquee mods for men too, but it's not my preference, so these aren't included. But don't despair ladies, gents and whatever in between! There are mods for everyone out there, everyone! As for the modpack itself, I kept things pretty simple. I mostly focused on nude mods and a few utility mods that helped speed up gameplay and reduce grinding. The only non-cosmetic additions I used were an SP item, a dancer class, and a skirmish spawner. I mainly wanted to make the experience a little smoother without completely destroying the balance. I enjoy a challenge, but after dealing with Lunatic+ in Awakening, Conquest, and Maddening in Three Houses, I wanted this playthrough to be a little more relaxed. I still played on Hard Classic, though, because to me, there’s no point in playing Fire Emblem if it isn’t at least a little spicy. Alright. Enough stalling, let me talk about the game itself. This game is fucking awesome! And listen, I know Fire Emblem Engage has a lot of mixed opinions around it. I had heard some of the negative takes before playing, and honestly, they made me a little hesitant to try it. But now that I’ve finished it, I’m so glad I gave it a real chance. So, if you are unsure about this game, my honest advice is: go in with an open mind. Because, as a whole, I loved so much of what it had to offer: mostly the gameplay, the characters and the storytelling. As a long-time Fire Emblem fan, the Emblem system was especially exciting for me. Seeing so many legendary characters return was genuinely special. I don’t have the deep technical knowledge to dissect every mechanic perfectly, but I know how the game made me feel. What was supposed to be a quick review turned into a full playthrough. That has to mean something, right? If nothing else, it should be a solid proof of how addictive and fun this game actually is. Having all the girls in the nude is a VERY nice plus. The gameplay was such a nice surprise. There is so much customization thanks to the Emblems, and almost any character can become OP with the right setup. If you get Tiki early, things can get ridiculous very quickly. For players who love grinding and experimenting, there are countless ways to strengthen your army. And even on Hard, I found the game challenging at times. I can only imagine how brutal Maddening must be without leaning into the most broken mechanics or using the DLC Emblems, which, by the way, are all great. Also, there’s the Somniel exploration. It’s pretty obvious where some of the inspiration came from. Three Houses is one of the most beloved Fire Emblem games ever, so I’m not surprised they brought back some of that lighter exploration and bonding feeling: gifts, meals, little support conversations, and being able to walk around your base seeing your characters living their lives. I liked that. It made the army feel more alive. That said, I could have done without the after-battle exploration maps. I skipped most of them after Chapter 16. They were fine at first, but after a while, they felt more like a routine than something meaningful. The ring gacha system was cute too, clearly inspired by Fire Emblem Heroes, but it got old pretty quickly. After completing a few Emblem collections, I didn’t bother with it much. my beautyfull waifus from older games... I picked Lucina as Robin's wife in awakening and i remember Lyn being my first game crush, dayum what good memories. And speaking of repetition: this game is grindy. Holy shit, it is grindy. If you want to max out an Emblem naturally, it takes forever. And don’t even get me started on Emblem weapon enhancement. Hell even normal weapon enhancement takes forever. This might honestly be the grindiest Fire Emblem game to fully complete. Scratch that, that would be Heroes, but it's still a strong second place. Thank god the Arena exists for raising Emblem bonds. Without it, building characters and testing different strategies would have been such a hassle. The free training fights also help keep newer characters closer to the rest of the army. Still, near the end, I mostly prioritized new characters as they joined, just to reduce grinding as much as possible. I don’t think I had more than four characters above level 30. At some point, many units probably would have been lost in the war if not for the Time Crystal, another great mechanic brought over from Three Houses. Now, one thing I don’t see people talk about enough is the music. The music is great. It fits the atmosphere perfectly, especially during emotional scenes. And speaking of emotional scenes… Bro. This game has insane storytelling, it's some quality stuff even if it's quite superfficial all in all. You would think that after losing parental figures in basically every Fire Emblem game ever made, I would have developed some resistance to that cliché. Nope. This game still got me. It gave me one of the most tragic parent-child stories I’ve seen in Fire Emblem. It just kept going. Every time I thought the pain was over, the game found a way to twist the knife again. Please LET MOM REST FOR FUCK'S SAKE. And while writing this, I think I finally realized why I liked the story so much. It’s the tragedy, plain and simple. Again and again, the game gives you loss, sacrifice, guilt, regret, and broken people trying to move forward anyway. It reminded me a little of Re:zero, which I’ve been watching recently. That same feeling of suffering, standing back up, suffering again, and still refusing to give up. Alear is honestly such a good protagonist. We start as someone scared, lost, and unsure of themselves, but little by little, they become a compassionate leader with unshakable resolve. And yes, the overall goal is the usual JRPG thing: save the world from the big bad. But the journey doesn’t feel like clean victory after clean victory and i love that, we need more stories like this. Every win has a cost. Every step forward leaves something behind. Even when you win, it rarely feels like you truly won. And then there’s the Fell Xenologue. That DLC it's peak cinema. It is basically a doomed world filled with pain, regret, and people who deserved better. And honestly? It might be my favorite Fire Emblem DLC ever. Nel and Rafal deserve their own game. I would buy it with no hesitation. The story of Engage may not be the best Fire Emblem story ever. Three Houses still exists. But is it good? Yes. Very much so. Now I need to talk about the one part of the game that I both loved and hated: the characters. Actually, “hated” is not the right word. I liked the designs and main story roles of almost every major character, both allies and villains. Especially the villains. But I wanted more. I wanted more development. I wanted to see these characters grow in ways beyond stats and classes. Alear’s growth is clear: from a frightened child into a resolved, kind, and inspiring leader. It is wonderful to watch. But I wish the other characters, especially the royals, had received the same attention. Alfred is best boy: loyal, compassionate, and so easy to love. Céline is far more complex than she first appears. Hortensia is a scared, misguided child who just needs someone to reach out and protect her. Alcryst is hilarious, but also genuinely kind. Diamant is cool, strong, and inspiring. Ivy is a gentle princess born into the wrong environment, too loyal and too good for her own sake. Fogado is Fogado. Timerra seems silly at first, but she is surprisingly grounded when it truly matters. And Veyle is the cutest little sister in Elyos. But with characters this charming, and with so much potential, it is such a shame that many of them don’t develop much after their main arc. They get a good line here and there, and some support conversations are nice, but others feel a little boring. The supports do help us learn more about different sides of the characters and their relationships, but I think the A supports between the royals are usually the closest we get to real character development for them. Most of the story focuses on Alear and Veyle, and while I loved that, it also means the rest of the cast only gets glimpses of greatness. The villains especially deserved more. Or maybe they didn’t, considering what they did, but still… I wanted more choice. I wanted more complexity. I would have saved Marni... Actually fuck it, i've decided who to mate with. I’ll make her happy myself. There. Problem solved... Now, about the S supports: I still think it’s disappointing that the only paired ending is with the protagonist. I would have loved to see romantic or emotional paired endings between other characters too. Since Fates, those kinds of endings seem to have become less and less common, and that makes me sad. Because Engage has so many characters filled with potential, and it is frustrating that the game doesn’t fully use all of it. And then there are the Emblem supports: Short. Unimportant. Mostly boring. They felt like filler content. That was honestly one of the biggest letdowns for me, because I loved the characters chosen to be Emblems. I wanted meaningful conversations. I wanted nostalgia. I wanted the old heroes to connect with the new cast in ways that felt memorable. Also, I would have preferred Alm over Celica any day. Sorry. The ending would have hit even harder if the Emblem supports had been better. And don’t get me wrong, I loved the ending. My boy deserved his happy ending after everything he went through. Nel and Rafal deserved theirs too. I guess it’s nice that everyone got some kind of happy ending. Even Alfred, as short as it was. Rest in peace, my sweet prince. ?! Anyway, I think I’ve said everything I wanted to say. I'm ready to end the review here. Man...all in all what a great game! Strongest characters: Madeline as a Hero with Lucina, and Hortensia as a Sleipnir Rider with Corrin. Their stat totals were 235 and 246 respectively. Madeline got all my saved stat boost items, and Hortensia is just naturally insane. Tankiest unit: Timerra with Ike. No explanation needed. These two are absolute units together. Most used Emblem: Tiki. Completely broken for growth. Lost units: None. So, my thoughts: The nude mods where great! It was wonderfull to see all these cuties in the nude! Definitively S-Tier! All the main playable girls are naked, many enemies and NPC are too. OF course all the Female Emblems are nude too. Fire Emblem Engage surprised me. It made me laugh at stupid random ass moments. It made me emotional with nice storytelling. It frustrated me for it's lost potential. It made me attached to characters I wish had gotten more time to shine. It gave me some of the most fun gameplay I’ve had in the series, and even when the story wasn’t perfect, it had enough heart to keep me completely invested. I'm glad i did't skip this game Sometimes the game is a little slow when charging textures for some particular enemies, and even to the point of crashing. I've noticed that it crashes quickly after any character appears with a pink body, when that happens try to save quickly! Still, as far as crashes go, i only encountered about 4 in 60+ hours of gameplay so... yeah. mods.7z I'll leave here my mod folder for cobalt, still i recommend searching here and there to make your own modpack! There are so much mods to explore out there! I actually will try out the astral paralogues mod later, should be compative with the nude mod! Wish me luck! Next review will be rather short, like significantly shorter xD. It's FANTASIAN Neo Dimension. Buhbye! Edited June 16 by Müllkaiser 9
