Hiya papaya!

I’ve been gaming a lot lately, trying new games here and there, while also going back to some of the games I previously reviewed. I’ll probably make a small update to the Atelier Sophie 2 review with the working mods, but for now, it’s time for something new:

Here goes the next review: Fire Emblem Engage.

2026053117220100.jpg.716403dbe3d1dbcd757bda3a020cbe09.jpg

And yeah, as far as playtime goes, this is the longest review so far. A whopping 64 hours and 22 minutes of gameplay. Honestly, at this point, this is less of a mod review and more of a full game review, because I completed an entire playthrough, Fell Xenologue and all.

So yes: expect spoilers. A lot of spoilers.

image.jpeg.79a60ae748b963c05eb19c47ba46c6b3.jpegimage.jpeg.f3c4a5a29e4cd5fadf80d84d47af7687.jpeg

Barely starting, we'll know it the mods are working so yeah. Quick and Easy check, though the Cobalt version under the title card should be a even bigger tell.

I do have a lot i want to yap about this game. BUTT, before that, i'll explain a little about the mods used and how to mod this game in the first place, that is: Cobalt!

Soooo Cobalt is this nice mod manager for the switch that makes mods a whole lot easier to install and fixes a lot of compatibility issues! I won't bother explaining how to install Cobalt, since it's incredibly fast and easy. A quick google search will fix that for you!

On the other hand... i have to be reaaal clear about this: there are tons of mods for this game. TONS! And this modpack will not have much of these.

As you might expect from me at this point: i will prioritize nudity above any and all other mods. So i didn't include any mod that affect characters beside the nude mods. These affect ALL the main female cast of characters, and many female enemies as well.

image.jpeg.526b77814e0b902602d8612a406aa7b0.jpegimage.jpeg.9d5096ff87c0a17764ac73fc5627e318.jpegimage.jpeg.acf2c4f05be6a0e5f0f7bd52ce19c47c.jpeg

image.jpeg.a474ab4cdd00d0b73bdb70150e225b79.jpegimage.jpeg.322074ac7b558b4f091348a9c280ca97.jpegimage.jpeg.d8f694f5dc3a96cea2b9a0f77c1c5dc2.jpeg

There are nude mods and risquee mods for men too, but it's not my preference, so these aren't included. But don't despair ladies, gents and whatever in between! There are mods for everyone out there, everyone!

As for the modpack itself, I kept things pretty simple. I mostly focused on nude mods and a few utility mods that helped speed up gameplay and reduce grinding. The only non-cosmetic additions I used were an SP item, a dancer class, and a skirmish spawner. I mainly wanted to make the experience a little smoother without completely destroying the balance.

image.jpeg.05be5b8c963e33b7023f9c6178ad9c1b.jpegimage.jpeg.da8a83edfd267b3e1dabd8bfc9859547.jpeg

I enjoy a challenge, but after dealing with Lunatic+ in Awakening, Conquest, and Maddening in Three Houses, I wanted this playthrough to be a little more relaxed. I still played on Hard Classic, though, because to me, there’s no point in playing Fire Emblem if it isn’t at least a little spicy.

Alright. Enough stalling, let me talk about the game itself. This game is fucking awesome!

And listen, I know Fire Emblem Engage has a lot of mixed opinions around it. I had heard some of the negative takes before playing, and honestly, they made me a little hesitant to try it. But now that I’ve finished it, I’m so glad I gave it a real chance.

So, if you are unsure about this game, my honest advice is: go in with an open mind.

image.jpeg.bdb968d19cbf6fce8d6debe0781b5f41.jpegimage.jpeg.d07ae4f6ab6a6871e9157f894171d97c.jpegimage.jpeg.1a1856fb73de07f3a4b6ef79b758181d.jpegimage.jpeg.950a10576dfd1fad6321dc2f182fe56c.jpeg

Because, as a whole, I loved so much of what it had to offer: mostly the gameplay, the characters and the storytelling.

As a long-time Fire Emblem fan, the Emblem system was especially exciting for me. Seeing so many legendary characters return was genuinely special. I don’t have the deep technical knowledge to dissect every mechanic perfectly, but I know how the game made me feel. What was supposed to be a quick review turned into a full playthrough. That has to mean something, right?

If nothing else, it should be a solid proof of how addictive and fun this game actually is. Having all the girls in the nude is a VERY nice plus.

2026053120491400.jpg.8e71b0745fe457d8c96da4af9808f533.jpgimage.jpeg.21ca39016d73c5ef72016741994c5f6d.jpegimage.jpeg.a73d89b06f8d5201a3b499ab8f961a1f.jpegimage.jpeg.5fb8e3ee1e7d5b8632df021909aa5b99.jpeg

The gameplay was such a nice surprise. There is so much customization thanks to the Emblems, and almost any character can become OP with the right setup. If you get Tiki early, things can get ridiculous very quickly. For players who love grinding and experimenting, there are countless ways to strengthen your army.

And even on Hard, I found the game challenging at times. I can only imagine how brutal Maddening must be without leaning into the most broken mechanics or using the DLC Emblems, which, by the way, are all great.

image.jpeg.1c0906a1bffd38ef1834bc6c8596fae7.jpegimage.jpeg.dad2ebd80b2b22c4e0578c80c2bf4f65.jpegimage.jpeg.94f500e0d78c202746d71b31b714d0f4.jpegimage.jpeg.28025625b7a12977b2d29c66501b6777.jpegimage.jpeg.b969a298f9e01dcf9bd06fe8b02c4a95.jpeg

Also, there’s the Somniel exploration.

It’s pretty obvious where some of the inspiration came from. Three Houses is one of the most beloved Fire Emblem games ever, so I’m not surprised they brought back some of that lighter exploration and bonding feeling: gifts, meals, little support conversations, and being able to walk around your base seeing your characters living their lives.

I liked that. It made the army feel more alive. That said, I could have done without the after-battle exploration maps. I skipped most of them after Chapter 16. They were fine at first, but after a while, they felt more like a routine than something meaningful.

image.jpeg.00437b5fc4bc533cea1f763590aa0175.jpeg

The ring gacha system was cute too, clearly inspired by Fire Emblem Heroes, but it got old pretty quickly. After completing a few Emblem collections, I didn’t bother with it much.

image.jpeg.f8d226379b093288561e0ef656fa9d1d.jpeg

my beautyfull waifus from older games... I picked Lucina as Robin's wife in awakening and i remember Lyn being my first game crush, dayum what good memories.

image.jpeg.468c59b1f7075bddcb63490c9d14a5d6.jpegimage.jpeg.0b5e03f9748f6c1e1eee6250a18b3065.jpegimage.jpeg.c6daa40103f10e357574aa3127ac7703.jpegimage.jpeg.b398fc8c86053c511d5dd28a57fffe1f.jpegimage.jpeg.234e1474dc222ef2e478b0f6a72eb63b.jpeg

And speaking of repetition: this game is grindy. Holy shit, it is grindy.

If you want to max out an Emblem naturally, it takes forever. And don’t even get me started on Emblem weapon enhancement. Hell even normal weapon enhancement takes forever. This might honestly be the grindiest Fire Emblem game to fully complete. Scratch that, that would be Heroes, but it's still a strong second place.

Thank god the Arena exists for raising Emblem bonds. Without it, building characters and testing different strategies would have been such a hassle. The free training fights also help keep newer characters closer to the rest of the army.

Still, near the end, I mostly prioritized new characters as they joined, just to reduce grinding as much as possible. I don’t think I had more than four characters above level 30. At some point, many units probably would have been lost in the war if not for the Time Crystal, another great mechanic brought over from Three Houses.

image.jpeg.a352d91a4f34666f24f41975a1b733c4.jpegimage.jpeg.1de6479cd74457007259d8f111571d4b.jpegimage.jpeg.9de6a6f33ba92ee5cd0f6ea877d728ae.jpegimage.jpeg.a258a2b63e34bec3310099c0a14378a4.jpegimage.jpeg.76c3b11d7934b035e45c06a781e35415.jpegimage.jpeg.17339f092238cd97629b912976dfc76a.jpegimage.jpeg.18c11d02d1c0847bd135887d62dca2eb.jpeg

Now, one thing I don’t see people talk about enough is the music.

The music is great. It fits the atmosphere perfectly, especially during emotional scenes. And speaking of emotional scenes…

Bro. This game has insane storytelling, it's some quality stuff even if it's quite superfficial all in all.

image.jpeg.3c784c29b07159b2e5d6e8765facd545.jpegimage.jpeg.be8cd8757f50d92bb1d14366e90824c7.jpeg

You would think that after losing parental figures in basically every Fire Emblem game ever made, I would have developed some resistance to that cliché. Nope.

This game still got me.

image.jpeg.f8dcd679241ecd956f7de443848469cd.jpegimage.jpeg.f44c541edad5e0c36257e99985112e04.jpeg

It gave me one of the most tragic parent-child stories I’ve seen in Fire Emblem. It just kept going. Every time I thought the pain was over, the game found a way to twist the knife again. Please LET MOM REST FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

And while writing this, I think I finally realized why I liked the story so much. It’s the tragedy, plain and simple.

Again and again, the game gives you loss, sacrifice, guilt, regret, and broken people trying to move forward anyway. It reminded me a little of Re:zero, which I’ve been watching recently. That same feeling of suffering, standing back up, suffering again, and still refusing to give up.

image.jpeg.92d6a5d907a90860c57db171fd5b3f96.jpeg

Alear is honestly such a good protagonist. We start as someone scared, lost, and unsure of themselves, but little by little, they become a compassionate leader with unshakable resolve. And yes, the overall goal is the usual JRPG thing: save the world from the big bad. But the journey doesn’t feel like clean victory after clean victory and i love that, we need more stories like this.

image.jpeg.6f01af28ebd9406fbfcf54442e7d58e5.jpegimage.jpeg.95024b1a835be00f4c2127704a06cfcc.jpegimage.jpeg.aa63ddafec5cc5408b215a5b3aa97f76.jpegimage.jpeg.39fdb068e6e9aeccef6db14709438dd8.jpeg

Every win has a cost. Every step forward leaves something behind.

image.jpeg.c6a0f8f34108ab5089f630faff8e3d7f.jpeg

Even when you win, it rarely feels like you truly won.

image.jpeg.505f81237ce9c7f394942643dd6fdc9d.jpeg

And then there’s the Fell Xenologue.

That DLC it's peak cinema. It is basically a doomed world filled with pain, regret, and people who deserved better. And honestly? It might be my favorite Fire Emblem DLC ever.

image.jpeg.4623ca41b7eeed61faa18e312e4cf847.jpegimage.jpeg.824ca6c5fccf4ff551df27a4f7e077b4.jpeg

Nel and Rafal deserve their own game. I would buy it with no hesitation.

image.jpeg.ff7f8da296bffcecbb87aa7a7afba829.jpeg

The story of Engage may not be the best Fire Emblem story ever. Three Houses still exists. But is it good? Yes. Very much so.

Now I need to talk about the one part of the game that I both loved and hated: the characters.

Actually, “hated” is not the right word. I liked the designs and main story roles of almost every major character, both allies and villains. Especially the villains.

image.jpeg.eee3fca6a7c17f853cfe9eec44a2da5a.jpeg

image.jpeg.296550eefb3d9d46c90625faa5fd0010.jpeg

But I wanted more.

I wanted more development. I wanted to see these characters grow in ways beyond stats and classes. Alear’s growth is clear: from a frightened child into a resolved, kind, and inspiring leader. It is wonderful to watch.

But I wish the other characters, especially the royals, had received the same attention.

Alfred is best boy: loyal, compassionate, and so easy to love. Céline is far more complex than she first appears. Hortensia is a scared, misguided child who just needs someone to reach out and protect her. Alcryst is hilarious, but also genuinely kind. Diamant is cool, strong, and inspiring. Ivy is a gentle princess born into the wrong environment, too loyal and too good for her own sake. Fogado is Fogado. Timerra seems silly at first, but she is surprisingly grounded when it truly matters. And Veyle is the cutest little sister in Elyos.

image.jpeg.bc399483c122711d2aeaa55c56a0bb7f.jpeg

But with characters this charming, and with so much potential, it is such a shame that many of them don’t develop much after their main arc. They get a good line here and there, and some support conversations are nice, but others feel a little boring.

image.jpeg.2e38d924a8b84ab1ab761b8afecf8321.jpeg

The supports do help us learn more about different sides of the characters and their relationships, but I think the A supports between the royals are usually the closest we get to real character development for them.

Most of the story focuses on Alear and Veyle, and while I loved that, it also means the rest of the cast only gets glimpses of greatness. The villains especially deserved more. Or maybe they didn’t, considering what they did, but still… I wanted more choice. I wanted more complexity.

I would have saved Marni... Actually fuck it, i've decided who to mate with.

image.jpeg.a6f50aa9084d51109274d8cdb74d4355.jpegimage.jpeg.584779e78f71a274e5f25e383af6acf8.jpeg

I’ll make her happy myself.

There. Problem solved... :(

Now, about the S supports: I still think it’s disappointing that the only paired ending is with the protagonist. I would have loved to see romantic or emotional paired endings between other characters too. Since Fates, those kinds of endings seem to have become less and less common, and that makes me sad.

Because Engage has so many characters filled with potential, and it is frustrating that the game doesn’t fully use all of it.

And then there are the Emblem supports: Short. Unimportant. Mostly boring. They felt like filler content.

image.jpeg.3a89f6104b6e940b893a3eced04bce9b.jpeg

That was honestly one of the biggest letdowns for me, because I loved the characters chosen to be Emblems. I wanted meaningful conversations. I wanted nostalgia. I wanted the old heroes to connect with the new cast in ways that felt memorable.

Also, I would have preferred Alm over Celica any day. Sorry.

The ending would have hit even harder if the Emblem supports had been better. And don’t get me wrong, I loved the ending. My boy deserved his happy ending after everything he went through. Nel and Rafal deserved theirs too. I guess it’s nice that everyone got some kind of happy ending.

Even Alfred, as short as it was.

Rest in peace, my sweet prince.

image.jpeg.26379558dc45e180796b3f5b50be6347.jpegimage.jpeg.95ea70f22bb9f2e70cb0561cd6773bcf.jpegimage.jpeg.4f93a5c2f54681bb036e7ad72da88735.jpeg?!image.jpeg.9ad488c3a8e5a81375f0d9d4f5e0764d.jpeg

Anyway, I think I’ve said everything I wanted to say. I'm ready to end the review here. Man...all in all what a great game!

  • Strongest characters: Madeline as a Hero with Lucina, and Hortensia as a Sleipnir Rider with Corrin. Their stat totals were 235 and 246 respectively. Madeline got all my saved stat boost items, and Hortensia is just naturally insane.
  • Tankiest unit: Timerra with Ike. No explanation needed. These two are absolute units together.
  • Most used Emblem: Tiki. Completely broken for growth.
  • Lost units: None.

So, my thoughts: The nude mods where great! It was wonderfull to see all these cuties in the nude! Definitively S-Tier!

  • All the main playable girls are naked, many enemies and NPC are too. OF course all the Female Emblems are nude too.
  • Fire Emblem Engage surprised me. It made me laugh at stupid random ass moments. It made me emotional with nice storytelling. It frustrated me for it's lost potential. It made me attached to characters I wish had gotten more time to shine. It gave me some of the most fun gameplay I’ve had in the series, and even when the story wasn’t perfect, it had enough heart to keep me completely invested. I'm glad i did't skip this game
  • Sometimes the game is a little slow when charging textures for some particular enemies, and even to the point of crashing. I've noticed that it crashes quickly after any character appears with a pink body, when that happens try to save quickly! Still, as far as crashes go, i only encountered about 4 in 60+ hours of gameplay so... yeah.

mods.7z 275.4 MB · 27 downloads

I'll leave here my mod folder for cobalt, still i recommend searching here and there to make your own modpack! There are so much mods to explore out there! I actually will try out the astral paralogues mod later, should be compative with the nude mod! Wish me luck!

Next review will be rather short, like significantly shorter xD. It's FANTASIAN Neo Dimension. Buhbye!

I may be stupid, but how do i install these mods? (I am using Yuzu)

Did some more digging and figured out how to use cobalt with Yuzu. For those who come after here's how to install Cobalt mods with Yuzu:

Press File > Open yuzu folder in the menu bar at the top

Navigate to the sdmc folder.

Extract the release.zip archive here.

Create the following directory if it doesn't already exist: /engage/mods/

Boot game

When you launch the game it should show in the bottom corner if cobalt is active.

Has anyone else tried the Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs mod from earlier in the thread? For some reason anytime I try to load that game Eden full hard crashes, but my other games/mods run fine. 😕

These mods i only test on original hardware, i can't guarantee them working on anything but the switch. Can't help there, sorry bruv :(

No worries. Just curious if anyone had similar. Regardless, keep up the legendary work!

Heya! There's been some pouring rain nonstop these past few days and boy, everything flooding! I've never been happier to live in higher ground...

Anyway, here comes the next reviews, i've got 3 for today!

First one today: Atelier Lydie & Suelle The Alchemist and the Mysterious Paintings DX!

image.jpeg.8895d95fa6729ffede4faea1bbf448d3.jpeg

uh... is it me or these names are getting longer? Like at some point can we go back to one word titles? Aight, y'know what, i'll just call this game Alas, like wings in spanish, yeah let's go with that.

Right, so as some of ya'll might have figured out, Alas is yet another gem from from the Atelier Series, happening sometime after the events of Atelier Firis, how do i know that? You'll see why later on!

image.jpeg.5574047bdf6010c968214799d418d12f.jpegimage.jpeg.246818314a47b6358e8b224f4a59c020.jpegimage.jpeg.3bb75ac59a2ff640c9ddc3795f7f1570.jpeg

Or so i said, i forgot they appeared on the very opening haha welp that's a ruined surprise. Anyway, look! It's Sophie And Firis! They are back and roaminga round in this game too, so we are in for a treat!

So what's Alas about? Welp, this time around we follow the twin sisters Lydie and Suelle, two absolutely adorable novice Alchemists following on the footspets of their "decesased" mother. Ah, btw the nude mods are working fine, you just have to equip the smimsuits after the tutorial it's done, don't despair.

image.jpeg.f79da81da230f8dfa340386a71a4f213.jpegimage.jpeg.3724550cedb09242e1afa2bc84037075.jpegimage.jpeg.b0c08e7d9bfdb3f62eb85d2ef7f702c4.jpegLemme fish....image.jpeg.9d14ce86f31ce71c341cceae28703317.jpegahaha... i love wordplay in games. Not a japanese speaker but he would be something along the lines of Baldiel? That's just perfect!image.jpeg.327b8c6847fefce29d6f5c4f075e41e3.jpeg

So, as far a an Atelier game goes, this one has most of what it's predecessors have. Maybe a lil difference here and there, but's it's nothing groundbreaking, that is to say: It's nothing new, but it's still great! We go from exploring the world in a road-trip format in Firis, back to a traditional base-building format, this time in Merveille, the capital of the Adalet Kigndom.

Of course, this stepback it's understandable if we look at the goals of each protagonist: Firis wanted freedom above all, to see the world. The sisters want to save their struggling Atelier and make it the best Atelier in the kingdom, a goal that becomes possible with the ongoing Atelier Ranking that takes place in the capital as a central plotpoint in the story, so it's quite the seamless transition. And i'm glad we come back to a more polished, focused and mechanically cohesive structure in Alas. It's plain to see, how these formulas influenced the games that caem after... Ain that nice?

2026071218404600.jpg.dd1b0af908558d2c0332932052231468.jpg2026071218483400.jpg.6fca5f3258d3bfde04f5dfcd474b0db6.jpg2026071218172900.jpg.c3ff92d7081eb8bf664f0570385f839a.jpg2026071218515900.jpg.e1381cf281a3c1afe49e475868881c76.jpg2026071218520600.jpg.b31154672593478c0ff7af5abb4ae099.jpg2026071218323900.jpg.1836407cd82e719be37e0b578e5b3165.jpg2026071218324300.jpg.d3ddda097e88627b354883022e30593c.jpg

This time around we have no time limit, so we can take our time advancing the story at our own pace and discretion, the game loop it's a bit more repetitive: we raise our Atelier reputation by progressibely harder ambition requests, do a rank-up assignment and gain access to new places.

So, Müllkaiser-sensei, do tell: What's new on this game?

Mechanically: two protags, combination arts, follow-ups from rearguard, Basically better combat and mid-battle alchemy.

Plotwise: the paintings!

Welp, there isn't much of a point to keep spoiling Alas further, so let's end it here. Btw, i made a little game for those willing to try: I hid their dad in some captures, can you find all 3 hidden Rogers? Do try, since the quality it's not so high it's gonna be a challenge!

So, my thoughts: Very good mods! Overall, i would say this is one of the games with the most likeable characters in the series (pre-Ryza, at least), so it's great to have them nude!

  • The game is great, like most Atelier are: charming characters, good music, nice and clean battle system, there is little to hate about these!

After advancing a couple chapters we get access to the paintings! yeah the thing in the title, early on we get a glimpse by the painting hidden in our house, but later on we find a lot more in the castle. They are changing living worlds made by Alchemists, our very own exentric father being one of such... maybe?

Welp, here goes the next review!

In comes the latest Smash bros, that's actually 7+ years old already (holy shit, when did that happen?!).

image.jpeg.390813de6f4465edf6013a53d24d2ae9.jpeg

Aight, this one's gonna be another mod showcase, since the main atraction of this game is not the story, but the versus, and we all know smash by this point... though, i'm a little ashamed to say that i do suck at smash.

So... there where some characters i couldn't unlock due to getting my ass handed to me by a bot. Yeah, i failed the challenger battle for many, Lucina for example (this destroyed me, since she's my favorite FE character from the 3ds era :(, welp that's life).

2026071823091000.jpg.adff186856e51b819d9ec69fc84f6749.jpg

Anyhow, let's not talk about world of light since, even if it's a very convoluted and interesting plotline, it sucks ass at unlocking characters quick, unless you failed a certain challenger battle like me and you want to snipe a certain fighter from the map. I'll take hours tho.

Last, but not least: I'm using ARCropolis for these, i'm unsure if this is the stablest version to play in:

image.png.5de3bd737833215b77bd5f35334d5b13.png

I DID experience some crashes here and there, specially when playing 8 player matches, all with nude mods. It's a perpetual loading game crash, so if you are stuck on the loading screen, restart the game.

Some nude mods guaranteed the crash so they had to be scrapped fron this modpack (Like a shibari zelda one and a half-nude Palutena one), Don't despair tho, every female character has at least one nude model... except for Wii Fit trainer. Would i even want it? no, not really, so i put a Hatsune Miku mod instead :P.

Talking about funny replacements:

Anyway, let's get to the fun part!

Haha

Here's a little list of what mods i included:

  • Min Min - Slot 4
  • Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma - Slot 5
  • Bayoneta - Slot 7
  • Peach - Base
  • Daisy - Base, Ankha Slot 8
  • Joker - Replaced completely by Kasumi
  • Palutena - Base
  • Pokémon Trainer - All but base
  • Zero Suit Samus - Slot 7 & 8
  • Zelda - Slots 7 & 8, Shantae on slot 6
  • Hero - Replaced by Caesar, all Slots
  • Link - Female Slot 6
  • Robin - All Female Robins (Daraen)
  • Rosalina - Base
  • Lucina - Base and Slot 2
  • Wii Fit trainer - Replaced by Hatsune Miku, no nudes
  • Corrin - Female
  • Byleth - Female Only (Male Byleth deleted) with Seminude and nude Slots
  • Inkling - Base
  • Ike - Camilla nude on Slot 3, Yamato clothed on Slot 4
  • Marth - Igawa Asagi on Slot 2

I'll save my comments on this game itself for when i'm better at playing it, i'm sure some practice is due... i want my Lucina... fuck i'm still upset about it.

So, my toughts: Okay mods overall, i mean... let's be honest here, these models aren't meant to be that detailed. Speacially during combat with it being so chaotic. Some mods have strange skeletons, some break ankles, some make diabolic faces... be warned, you might find some really unsettling figures when pausing and entering photo mode.

Still, it's quite nice to have so many nude mods around, and boy the modding scene on this game it's crazy, there are a LOT, a damn whole LOT of mods out there, including male nudes for the gals and pals that want 'em. Pretty much something for everyone!

  • All ladies have at least one nude variant except for WFT. There are some nice funny replaces in case you want em. If not, just delete the corresponding folder in SD/ultimate/mods.
  • I suck at this game, for that i don't find it particularly fun to play, but hey that's a me problem, many people love this game and for good reasons (i hope).
  • There are visual glitches and broken models here and there, but it's manageable, speacially if you are actually focused on the battle itself. Might crash if many nude mods are picked at the same time.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Drop-in-sd folder.7z

This is a hefty one, do consider it's about 2,5gb in total. Just drop it at the root of your SD, it has my version of ARCropolis and the nudes i found that where the least volatile.

Aight, time to move on the last one from last week, and boy it's an absolute treat! Next comes Xenoblade Chronicles 3!

Posted

Ahhhh, finally the last Xenoblade!!

... actually... wasn't there one coming for the switch 2? Damn... guess i'll have to buy it too, the console and the game, and that Fire Emblem.... And that Atelier.... *sigh*

There's the Ocarina remake too... *sigh*

image.jpeg.5af2354b9e2f06683e22b608a814a9bc.jpeg

Anyway, we have finally reached Xenoblade Chronicles 3!

Man, I have so many good memories with this saga, going all the way back to Xenogears and Xenosaga. While I’m a huge fan of almost everything related to the wider Xeno franchise, the Xenoblade Chronicles games have by far the best interconnected story—as well as some fantastic individual plots, of course.

image.jpeg.0b38274c02898ec9a12847386936d7b3.jpeg

image.jpeg.dfb57086ee3cae41d22d68e61b75bfad.jpegimage.jpeg.58887f57f2a1dcd10fbdd2f0c1599767.jpegimage.jpeg.d84c0abd7b9dff89351a9ec18dfa340a.jpegimage.jpeg.7fba38e8771347277d30fbab6101591d.jpegimage.jpeg.a341ac5d5de1227ab618dea1d423cbe2.jpegimage.jpeg.6c3a68f79c99d81a8dc2b61a65ffe854.jpeg

Outstanding storytelling has always been a major part of the Xeno games. For a long time, I couldn’t decide whether Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or 3 had the better story. Now, I’m no longer in doubt. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is unrivaled in that regard. On my second playthrough, I’ve also come to realize that it might be the best game in the series in almost every major category.

Except Chain Attacks. I still prefer the versions from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

image.jpeg.efaaddf4cf3966cf32ebb82dda896c54.jpegi remember being surprised the first time i've played this, but then i understood that they don't know better.image.jpeg.42d8553d8e8320a2de20aab33468b6ae.jpeg

image.jpeg.9c0f75a62f0af2676e9a916727d125a9.jpeg

The six of them are branded as enemies of both nations after encountering Guernica Vandham, the first actual adult they have ever seen. Guernica transforms them into Ouroboros because he can no longer stomach watching children endlessly fight and kill each other. I guess that Mathew's influence right there.

Man, even in this game, Vandham is still protecting us. Awww, shit. I’m already spoiling too much. Then again, if you are actually reading this review, I assume you came prepared. I hope, kinda maybe.

Early in the game, we are introduced to Noah’s unusual perspective on war. He fights because he has to survive, but he feels genuine grief for everyone who dies, both allies and enemies.

image.jpeg.1508b2661a194a73a6df5b32a2207211.jpegimage.jpeg.104e55a1e6e59f88193bd6f5e26d23da.jpegimage.jpeg.ef198be9971a041cb1b37ac3ea522a04.jpegimage.jpeg.75e10c760fdd0a37f52dd41f3089cebc.jpegimage.jpeg.385d6e860b6a6d49ee515f94898ee885.jpeg

From the very beginning, he displays those classic protagonist qualities, but they never feel artificial or forced. Noah is surrounded by people who have their own reasons for fighting. Some fight for revenge, driven by hatred that has been ingrained into them through constant conflict. Some are terrified of losing more comrades. Others simply want to protect the few people who are important to them. All of those motivations are understandable.

But they ultimately become meaningless when the party is offered a completely new path. For the first time in their lives, they are separated from the cycle of killing and dying for their colonies. They are free to choose their own direction and live for themselves. What makes this so powerful is how confused they initially are by that freedom.

They have no goals outside of war. None. They were never taught how to imagine a future. They don’t know what they want because nobody ever allowed them to want anything. It is both fascinating and incredibly disturbing.

image.jpeg.8cb27bd95b89a4ae998b02b92d52e5b7.jpegimage.jpeg.7e20706e634ec7e5f55cb2cbe67e6143.jpegimage.jpeg.06098e8d529bae9d4c4f67d1e71c072b.jpegimage.jpeg.02d04f918626f0b104a64101c565d4e7.jpegimage.jpeg.bf8f2dfd7853422ac441e3c134aa3a1d.jpegimage.jpeg.34b3384e532fb2d8abce9e11dd0c89f0.jpeg

Watching the group slowly grow beyond that mentality is one of the greatest parts of the game. We learn about their histories, understand their individual perspectives and watch them gradually grow closer.

And, of course, the romance is fantastic.

Everything involving Noah and Mio is just...

Man.

It’s difficult to discuss without spoiling the best parts of the game. I would rather not reveal anything beyond Chapter 4, especially because that is when the story really begins to escalate. Aight, no more story.

image.jpeg.dc22b0e42b5dde2bf952251d35ea3bdb.jpegimage.jpeg.60715229e87e5c29b6dd7f004cf02e0e.jpegimage.jpeg.4a263f125521cf9c50753709d782caee.jpeg

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 also has the most polished overall combat system in the series. It is extremely flexible and customizable, primarily because every party member can eventually use any class you unlock.

Your core party consists of all six protagonists, with an optional Hero joining them as a seventh combatant. Rather than selecting only three active party members, as in previous games, the entire central cast fights together. Characters occupy the traditional roles of: Attacker, Defender and Healer. Pretty much standart.

image.jpeg.0ba6a17333b55f25810050d06bd9747b.jpegimage.jpeg.f5a1db82aed45529d7be2c507b6df90f.jpegimage.jpeg.2e487858b5bcc1314df613e0951ab862.jpegimage.jpeg.099b3a468098a64b53cbed171dc362b5.jpegimage.jpeg.594b9144a4ea1a79593aa6f4c0512c20.jpeg

However, because you can freely switch between characters during battle, you have far more direct control over the flow of combat. You are not completely dependent on the AI understanding what to do and when to do it.

The class system is where the customization really opens up. Every protagonist can equip almost every unlocked class. Increasing a class’s rank grants Master Arts and Master Skills, which can then be carried over into other classes. This enables absurd amount of build freedom.

You can combine skills from different roles, cover weaknesses, improve damage output or create strange hybrid builds that would not normally be possible. Another interesting detail is that Keves and Agnus use different combat systems.

Kevesi Arts generally recharge automatically over time, like in XC1, while Agnian Arts recharge through auto-attacks, like in XC2. This directly incorporates the combat styles of the previous numbered games into the same system.

You can also equip Arts from opposing nations and combine them into Fusion Arts. Mechanically, this gives you more options during battle. Thematically, it represents the fact that your party is composed of people from both nations who are learning to work together.

The game does this constantly: it connects its mechanics with its story.

image.jpeg.0853f59367e4e5444c824d3031951c4a.jpegimage.jpeg.3ad0fe0cdc7887d92a9c6da84eeceb21.jpegughh.... look at her arms.... uhhhghghghgghghimage.jpeg.3b25f3317507ac306328fa49334a0748.jpegimage.jpeg.ada53be0bff9a59061d0675c0b560fd8.jpegimage.jpeg.25377446e964cd294a3ddcb8adb9a977.jpegimage.jpeg.50ea680abd038b7e19c7329b37cf8b7e.jpegimage.jpeg.e6bf1ca8e5e191d32c4edfe117976687.jpeg

Of the major new mechanics, Interlinking is probably the least interesting to me personally. The six protagonists are divided into three pairs: Noah and Mio, Eunie and Taion, and Lanz and Sena. Each pair can Interlink and transform.

It is useful. It gives you a temporary state where you cannot take normal damage, provides access to unique Arts and can save the party when a fight starts going badly.

However, with everything else happening during combat, I usually prefer managing the full party rather than transforming. Most of the time, I only use Interlinking when I am about to get wiped or need a quick burst of power.

Still, that is purely personal preference.

The mechanic is well designed, and the Ouroboros forms look great. It just isn’t the part of the combat system that interests me most. To each their own.

image.jpeg.c002b394f941418b8c4f2e2d1b40cdcc.jpegimage.jpeg.c1815e7a5dca6030619029ce6dc5a635.jpegimage.jpeg.16229a0f99fd1dc6a904a75cebcd77df.jpegimage.jpeg.dc98039997c72a1893b20935e6de6ac1.jpegimage.jpeg.597eec8017ef089406ed74deac7c7be0.jpegimage.jpeg.43bce4d70006a34433511d0ae32f1111.jpegimage.jpeg.6bd0eeaa62b4a0fbdbf4d2b0f58cb0ab.jpegimage.jpeg.4c7af3684af4f8fea1a395c235013e95.jpegimage.jpeg.c1c3383502eb60ae35d6d3ccffce82bc.jpegimage.jpeg.86f93da1dac2cbd220083fc1710a1186.jpeg

Another fantastic aspect of the game is its environmental design.

Aionios is not simply a collection of references to previous games, although there are plenty of those, and I love 'em.

Instead, it feels like a world created from the remains of the earlier numbered games. Familiar elements have been fused together, distorted and repurposed into completely new landscapes and battlefields. As you explore, you are constantly reminded that something is deeply wrong with the world. The environments are beautiful, but they are filled with abandoned ruins, massive war machines and geographical structures that feel as though they should not exist together. That underlying wrongness makes the eventual plot revelations even more satisfying.

And this game is huge. Like, huuuuuge.

Rather than trying to calculate exactly how many times larger it is than the other games, I’ll simply say that it feels like one of the biggest and most densely packed worlds in the series. There are enormous open regions, hidden areas, optional colonies, powerful monsters, secret encounters and entire questlines that can be missed when following only the main path.

There is also a light Metroidvania-style element to exploration. Throughout the game, you unlock traversal abilities that allow you to reach previously inaccessible paths and sections of the map, such as climbing vines, sliding down ropes or running up steep slopes. It isn’t revolutionary, but it makes returning to older areas more rewarding and gives exploration a stronger sense of progression.

image.jpeg.926d41de0cb42e4b970cd95fa7fdf7ee.jpegimage.jpeg.a7df45bc1acbf1b622969b8ed671036f.jpegimage.jpeg.a32e500d7061a3fd5e0ceacb11b50bc0.jpegimage.jpeg.bf1b68085296be9eb409637cb1664a9b.jpegimage.jpeg.516b7d55f182cc0677615c959d7ca1a8.jpeg

The Hero system also helps make exploration worthwhile. Heroes are optional party members who come with their own classes and personal questlines. And yep, they can be misseable.

image.jpeg.7fcbb32f84b4c29f46a15ec0cb874832.jpegimage.jpeg.0b2cb7c2bd0179d9767b455f73375de7.jpegimage.jpeg.30672573bc95751e436d44c4f7a7d375.jpeg

By the way, the music in this game is made entirely out of absolute bangers. Every piece of the soundtrack perfectly fits the situation in which it plays, especially during the emotional scenes.

The battle themes are powerful, the area music is beautiful and the quieter tracks know exactly when to step back and let a scene breathe. The off-seer melodies are especially important because they are not simply background music. Noah and Mio physically perform them within the story. Their flutes represent mourning, memory and the connection between two people who were raised as enemies. Their melodies can exist separately, but they are at their most powerful when played together.

That is basically the entire game expressed through music.

I remember seeing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 nominated for Best Score and Music at The Game Awards and scoffing at the competition. And then it didn’t win.

I can only guess it was because of the low popularity of these games due to their animesque style, and of course the fact that it was a nintendo explusive, making many asshurt.

I still think it was robbed, but it is what it is.

The soundtrack does something very few games manage: it doesn’t merely accompany the emotional moments. It becomes part of their meaning. There are scenes I can barely think about without immediately hearing the music associated with them.

image.jpeg.90506e7250926098ff4dca14e1e69f07.jpegimage.jpeg.6700dc4e80d8760b3a7e6be960fcf90c.jpegimage.jpeg.6722fdf45731eab17387a7a95bb6fb47.jpegimage.jpeg.99ecab562a1cd53e09b61a6cb8b27358.jpegimage.jpeg.c74bc3dc32b9c715fd3b4d1a00980141.jpegimage.jpeg.875e01d574887959dcf6295e4acd660e.jpeg

Ahhhh, I want to keep talking about this gameeeee. There is just so much to praise: The characters, the world, the combat, the quests, the music, the themes, the tiny interactions between party members...

My English is ass, and even after writing all of this, I still feel as though I have barely explained why I love the game so much. But I am at least somewhat satisfied with what I have written. There is so much to praise and so little to seriously bitch about. The game is just crazy good. Let’s go with that.

I almost forgot about the nude mods. They start working only AFTER the intro, when they become a team, so yeah. Be a little patient during the first chapter aight? And the costumes become available at the start of the third chapter, or somewhere along those lines (After Ethel's hero story).

Shit. I cannot stop myself from saying this. For anyone who does not know the story, the following words will probably mean nothing.

But those who know will understand.

Man... the endless now plot is a fucking fiction masterpiece.

Absolute fucking peak.

Aight, i'm done. Let's end the review here.

So, my thoughts: These are some really great mods, but there issues when the characters adopt certain stances. Overall, i can't give an s-tier to the mods, even if the game is SSS-tier in my heart.

  • All the main girls and heroines are nude, this includes some npcs, ah and the dlc too. Shit i forgot to mention that this game has the absolute best DLC in the whole saga. Daddy rex? Shulk? A?! pure bliss.
  • The best Xenoblade, i'm absolutely biased, i don't care.
  • Certain poses migh make the body look... strange, but overall the mods look great! The game feels smooth and i din't experience any crash whatsoever.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 romfs-exefs.zip

Man... now the only Xenoblade i haven't reviewed is X. Maybe i'll get to it soon, after all the nudes came out not that long ago... Anyway, i'm done with XC for now, i'll take the rest of the week to end my playthrough, this game deserves it. Hey i might add some caps here of the other characters.

Anyway, we have finally reached Xenoblade Chronicles 3!

Man, I have so many good memories with this saga, going all the way back to Xenogears and Xenosaga. While I’m a huge fan of almost everything related to the wider Xeno franchise, the Xenoblade Chronicles games have by far the best interconnected story—as well as some fantastic individual plots, of course.

image.jpeg.0b38274c02898ec9a12847386936d7b3.jpeg

image.jpeg.dfb57086ee3cae41d22d68e61b75bfad.jpegimage.jpeg.58887f57f2a1dcd10fbdd2f0c1599767.jpegimage.jpeg.d84c0abd7b9dff89351a9ec18dfa340a.jpegimage.jpeg.7fba38e8771347277d30fbab6101591d.jpegimage.jpeg.a341ac5d5de1227ab618dea1d423cbe2.jpegimage.jpeg.6c3a68f79c99d81a8dc2b61a65ffe854.jpeg

Outstanding storytelling has always been a major part of the Xeno games. For a long time, I couldn’t decide whether Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or 3 had the better story. Now, I’m no longer in doubt. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is unrivaled in that regard. On my second playthrough, I’ve also come to realize that it might be the best game in the series in almost every major category.

Except Chain Attacks. I still prefer the versions from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The Hero system also helps make exploration worthwhile. Heroes are optional party members who come with their own classes and personal questlines. And yep, they can be misseable.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 romfs-exefs.zip 117.6 MB · 1 download

Man... now the only Xenoblade i haven't reviewed is X. Maybe i'll get to it soon, after all the nudes came out not that long ago... Anyway, i'm done with XC for now, i'll take the rest of the week to end my playthrough, this game deserves it. Hey i might add some caps here of the other characters.

I hope you enjoyed the playthru. I really liked the themes they were laying down. Quite interesting as rpgs go. Also eunie is hilarious. Im the BUUUUSSSS!!!!

Hey, thanks for the mods bro! Here are some of the ones you wanted, sadly Naruto's it's 4gb big so... yeah, later.

Still, please do consider: These are not clean, i do troubleshooting as i make the reviews, these are volatile and might cause crashing or fucked up textures. they work, but that's it.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 romfs.zip 57.48 MB · 54 downloads Dragon Ball FighterZ romfs.zip 41.99 MB · 54 downloads Hatsune Miku - Project DiVA Megamix romfs.zip 375.75 MB · 49 downloads

About the fighterz mods, they crash when the bluehairtexture.pak is added but the mods won't work without them so what should I do?

6. MONSTER HUNTER RISE.rar - Some of the layered FS Armors are nuded, I also added the mod to unlock crafting all weapon and armor from the old man so you can check which armors are modded.
7. Mortal Kombat 1.rar - All females nude, Pretty sure MK2 nudes can also be ported to switch I'm just too lazy to do it since the game is way too big and takes too long to install
8. Ys Memories of Celceta.rar - 2 female nudes - This is for Japanese version copy only. The english patch mod is also available but I cant include it here since it's worth 1gb

Well that's all of it. You can pick more from my list, We pretty much have the same collection already but I would love for us to compare and maybe merge our files together to get a more complete set of mods,

Hello just wanted to ask how I would get this working on the eden emulator on an android handheld been trying to troubleshoot for a while to no avail. Acquired the base version of the game no updates or dlc

I'm unfamiliar with emulation, and i'm unsure if it uses the same LayeredFS system. But looking at the files it might work since it does have a contents folder. Look:

So I have to extract the atmosphere folder to eden? Bc online it say that the way the pak files r formatted is exclusively for pc and that switch romf files have to be different?IMG_7200.thumb.png.d5983172b2954b3c9f69d3440729a460.png
