OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 There are settings required to make ENBs work. Enbhost & d3d9.dll in base skyrim folder. AA, AF, FXAA must be disabled from skyrim's inis. An ini file meant for ENB and all around use can be downloaded here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36146/? All Fraps, MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision, must be disabled from being used on Skyrim. OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Have u tried backing up your files and trying the inis from the link? Also can you maximize the taskbar icons so I can see what's running?
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Have u tried backing up your files and trying the inis from the link? Also can you maximize the taskbar icons so I can see what's running? Yes.. I did. There is my Skyrim Root folder, my taskbar maximized and the skyrim when I start skse, yes I have tried to open the normal launcher, it does not actually change the graphics or re-optimize the settings.
OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 By taskbar I meant the thing on the bottom right of screen near the clock. Also, have you check the UGridsToLoad is the same as your previous INI? I noticed something aswell, Windows 8.1. I'm using it aswell and it does cause problems with some ENB with SweetFX and other injector type AAs. So, I want you to try something for me, install the Performance version of RealVision manually. Option A/B/C. Install shaders into the Data folder and install realvision ENB files into the Skyrim root folder.

I added the files but it keeps telling me this: I typed in the location of TESV but it still does not do anything. .-. really starting to annoy me, I follow all these directions and nothing is working. -.-
OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Why did that popup? I told you to install the files manually dunno why that will show up. Don't use the installer. Copy and paste nothing should show up. If you need more help I could try controlling your computer using a program called TeamViewer but that's a last step.
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Why did that popup? I told you to install the files manually dunno why that will show up. Don't use the installer. Manually means moving them directly into your skyrim root folder? If so, than that is exactly what I did, did not use NMM o-o Pretty sure the d3 file is the problem, or enb because if I remove it, my skyrim works fine o-o
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 d3d9.dll enables ENB. Well somethings up, obviously o-o. There must be something I am doing wrong, but I mean, I don't think so.
OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 You can always try reinstalling Skyrim to see if ENB works... Also, I still didnt see your taskbar icons yet.

OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 yeah. you have a laptop? maybe you should try the injector version of ENB.
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 yeah. you have a laptop? maybe you should try the injector version of ENB. I do not have a laptop, this is a desktop. How do I use the injector version?
OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Download ENB from Boris's website. After you download, install the "injector" instead of "Wrapper"
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Download ENB from Boris's website. After you download, install the "injector" instead of "Wrapper" Do I take just the injecter.exe? Or all of it? What do I put in the enbinjector.ini? Do I remove the D3 file? Do I remove the enbhost?
Shizune Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Nope, you just extract the whole binary archive to your Steamapps\common\Skyrim folder, then do the same with Sharpshooter/Bleak ENB archive, execute injector.exe and then start the game. And of course on your way overwrite every file.
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Nope, you just extract the whole binary archive to your Steamapps\common\Skyrim folder, then do the same with Sharpshooter/Bleak ENB archive, execute injector.exe and then start the game. And of course on your way overwrite every file. You said "Nope" to multiple questions. So, do I add every single file from the injector option? OR Just certain files? Also I have my skyrim in my games section not steam, is that a problem? O.o
OMGYourMom Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Doesn't matter where skyrim is installed. Extract all files into the directory, overwrite of course. Then reoverwrite with the ENB mod of your choice making sure it works with the ENB version you are using. Run the injector, make sure to run with administrator privileges. Then run SKSE_LOADER/TESV.
Shizune Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Not at all. I'll try to explain that in steps. 1. Download the right binaries pack, it depends on what ENB config you want to use. In case of Bleak/Unbleak it will be .246 binaries. 2. Choose which version you want. Wrapper version is for a bit stronger PCs and it implements ENB .dll files. The injector version is more RAM friendly afaik and you need to run enbinjector.exe each time before you start the game. Extract the chosen type to your Skyrim folder. 3. Extract all the ENB config files to your Skyrim folder similary as in step 2. 4. Once you start the game the ENB works. You can either disable/enable it in game using SHIFT+F12.
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 View My Video http://tinypic.com/r/30cprab/8 Here is a video of me doing what I THINK is what I am suppose to do, tell me what I did wrong, so I can correct myself please : )
Shizune Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I had similar issue. You might consider updating DirectX Runtime. At least fixed the issue after I had reinstalled the system.

At least fixed the issue after I had reinstalled the system. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35 This is what I downloaded, I installed it, I re-started my computer, still I have the same issue .-.
Scarlett Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 I remember it working before, Is there anyway to make a secondary skyrim, like a totally seperate one that is not connected to my old one, while still having the old one? Also if I have realistic lighting and a bunch of visual mods could that be what is messing it up?
Shizune Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I don't think any other mods would cause the issue since they seem not to interfere with .esp files. Of course you can make the second copy of Skyrim folder, just copy the whole folder and execute its .exe file.
